August can see Magnus on a bed further in

"May I come in?"

Claire says "Fine, but don't let him talk you into letting him out and about" She says moving to the side.

Magnus smiles "Want some wine or anything, August? I'm really fine."

"No, thank you. "He sits at bedside. "For Coradel's sake, though, stay in bed for now?"

His gentle grey eyes do a careful inspection.

He does look MUCH better, his mein no longer weak, but still not as strong as it could be. His skin is paler than usual, but other than that, he doesn't look at all like a man who should have died

August seems satisfied. "I won't stay long; I need to see Bachdion too. You'll be fine." He sounds sure.

"Bachdion … I need to thank him for getting me out of there" Magnus says "Wish I could do so now just for a …"

"No." Claire says, almost biting the word at her husband "Not yet."

"Right " He sighs

"I will take your words to him." He assures, rising. "Rest."

"Thanks..." He does indeed seem drowsy. Clare nods to August and escorts him out

then she says "Thanks for keeping that brief. "

"You're welcome." Politely. "Thank -you- for taking care of him."

And taking his leave, he goes to Bachdion's quarters.

Bachdion has actually been by the balefire a lot, but yes, but now he's in his quarters. At the knock at his door, he says "Come in"

August does, taking stock of the satyr as he does. "Bachdion, how are you? Coradel and Magnus send their best, and their gratitude... and I bring my own."

He doesn't seem wounded, but his mein seems not just a touch grayer, but sparse in parts, like cloth has been worn thin

"I'm better than I look" He waves it off, "And you?"

"Fine, thanks to you. All of us are. Bachdion... thank you." He sits at bedside.

"Yes, I..." He admits "I'm afraid I won't be flashing anyone anywhere for the next day or two, maybe longer. Sir Earl might be able to assist if you have his number, I think you do"

"I do, but I dont think I'm planning on going anywhere?"

"Not you in particular, the hold... He..won't swear. NOt to any noble, but he would help. If Coradel needs it, he'd do it, for my sake."

"He's a good man. I'll be sure she's aware of the option."

"Bachdion.... is there anything you need? That would help?%

"Oh.. ah.. no.. no.. " He says seeming a bit glazed "Just rest I guess. "

"By the 'Fire." A gentle suggestion. "Maybe... I don't know, I suppose there must be a spa of some kind in the Dreaming?"

"I was by the fire half the night and most of the morning" he says "But... no. Though the waters of Fenix are said to be..invigorating. Alas, I hear the freeholder there is a tease who leads innocent satyrs on"

"Where?"
