She ducks her head a bit and smiles. "Maybe, yeah."

"Do.. do you like the other werewolves?"

"Sure, at least some of them and sometimes you know? they're not my family"

"Gotcha. I'm really glad you can still be home. You ready for tryouts after school tomorrow?"

"Actually I'm a little nervous. Basket ball I know. Track is goinna be a change up, big time. But I'll give it a shot, right?"

"Well, it's a team. And you're fast! Super fast! And there's softball, too!"

"Softball I can do. Gonna try for shortstop"

"Awesome! I don't know what position I want, really, but Jaymes has been teachign me how to hit..."

"Oh geez, you'l knock the skin off of it" She mimes a swing and a crack sound

"Like Babe Ruth! Bam, to the moon!"

"hey, the sultan of swing."

"Ha!"

"How about you? You seem Jazzed"

"Maybe outfield? I got a good arm."

"And plus, like, shot put... so just gonna hurl stuff all spring."

"Hah. Get ready to tire that arm out"

"Unless I develop, like, a massive super-arm..."

"I could be... The Cannon." She makes a 'boom' sound effect and mimes an iron-man-esque repulsor shot.

A laugh

"yeah, gonna get all SWOLE on one shoulder "

"Maybe I should practice swinging both handed?"

"You know, that's not a bad idea. Also switch hitting, if you can become one, is like really coveted in Softball right?"

"I bet it is! Maybe I could get, like, a scholarship..."

"Maybe... not sure, girl athletes aren't always in demand as much"

"But I did hear of this..." She starts talking about scholarship opportunities and.. well, Dagmar may realize she just talked about going to college.

"So you plan on going? To college I mean?"

"Oh... uh. I dunno."

"Pretty sure it's expensive."

"Yeah, but scholarships... maybe"

"Yeah, maybe. I dunno. I like shop best. Maybe I could do something where I make stuff? Or, like, be a paramedic... I think you need college for that.."

"You could nail it if you have to. You're smart. Just don't confuse some patient for a shotput.. chuck zoom"

"What if they're a really annoying patient?"

A giggle escapes

"Could be a firefighter, too. They're badass."

"You mean like a certain teacher's husband? Yeah, he's ccool"

"AND he has a motorcycle..."

"Plus, they save people. Like, they aren't like cops..."

"Yeah, Police are a crapshoot "

"Exactly. But firemen? Always good guys."

"Oh yeah, never hear about some Fireman killing someone then lying about it"

"Exactly. Just saving cats and old ladies."

"Even bitchy old ladies like what's her name"

Grooooaaannnn. "Even McGillicuddy."

"Yeah, that's her. What a SHREW"

"I mean, she's so mean, I see snowfall the other way just to avoid landing on her face!"
