"What's that got to do with it?" Jaymes says "The Chief might pick folks based on factors that others are better at. She's a better warrior than I am. Vali has sooth say and visionss. The Hearth can heal. Olgaar can track. She might leave me here to guard the hold, which is still damn important. Just not as interesting"

Vali sighs "I got left out of the sea trip because we needed a mountain pro tem. I know how you feel, butit's not just fledges that get left out of things at times"

Tove says "Well, I doubt Siv or Sylvi will be encouraged to go either"

"No. But I mean... the bird came to our house."

"It could have crashed anywhere, Dagmar" Jaymes says

Vali says "Maybe Da'an IS involved, more reason to cast cantrips"

"We're pretty far from the Barrens, ain't we?"

She tries not to yawn.

"Tove would you take her home, get her some sleep?" Jaymes asks

Tove says "Okay. I'm tired myself. Ready, Dagmar?"
