Frank puts the hammer down, thinking to himself about resources he has in the area, if any.

He's pretty much on his own in this area. There was..no, no, he's not working with that psychopath again

Well, then, it's a matter of getting to the site and figuring out how to get the mortals away. Nothing he hasn't done before. Granted, usually with a team but....

Well, that's... different. In this economy, even houses of worship can have troubles. So... it looks like someone has taken over some large Presbyterian church. Alas, there doesn't appear to be a sign o the Electric Mayhem bus nearby.

"Yeah, that would be too much to hope for." A mutter. He drives past, parking the rig (conspicuous) some miles away, and hiking back. He carries his tire tapper.

And he approaches.... cars unveil before his eyes, it's clear someone cast a veiling to keep police away. What's really alarming is... how fancy some of the cars are. Limos, sports cars those spiffy hybrids. Some of them have glamour, or even chimerical seemings.

Frank stays to the tree/shrub line, hiding (as best he can) and watching. He makes note of those vehicles that could be used, in a pinch; destroyed for a cantrip bunk.

Mmm lots of choices, but best to be careful, two or three cars have drivers, clearly waiting for their bosses to return.

He nods to himself, and examines the building. He'll pace around it, careful of guards.

It's a church, the stained glass is simplistic, but good at keeping you from seeing in. The real bonus? he can hear through it "Please, settle down , settle down, in a bout five minutes we shall begin the sale"

Frank moves a bit faster, still watching for guards, looking for a backdoor or a place where slaves were brought in... or might be brought out.

Sure enough, there's a back door. Seems unguarded, but a peek through the keyhole shows it's also probably locked.

Frank takes his pocket knife out, opens the blade, and tries to jimmie the door open.

Old skills rekindle, and large fingers can have nimbleness. For a brief moment, he realizes Siv would probably love to learn how to pick a lock if he didn't already teach her in the dreaming . Click. It's unlocked.

He puts the knife away as he slips inside, eyes closed to adjust.

It is not dark, but it is dim, so closing the eyes was wise.

there are some offices along the hallway here, or a corner turn. Possibly to more offices.

He can hear the auction starting, "This is Nita. As you can see, she is an attractive 20 year old woman, an age some consider the mortal female prime. If you don't like the name she can be altered to believe anything you want about herself. She would be an excellent handmaiden, maid, or both. '

Frank exhales carefully, slowly, and mimes the breaking of bonds to bunk a Veiled Eyes cantrip, whispering to himself. "Give me liberty or give me death."

Engulfed by it, he thinks he's secure and unnoticed, for now.

He begins his search; Kenning to notice spots of Glamour that might be active cantrips, listening for voices, watching for signs of captivity, and even scenting the air for the same.

Looks like most of the humans are in some sort of vestibule behind the preacher stage. A baptismal set up? well, whatever it is, there's a side door that leads up to it. Blocking it is a troll, easily as big as Frank himself. Now, further on is a passi nto the main woship area itself, and Frank's jaw sets. At least a third of the folks here to bid are Sidhe. And his eyes fall on more than one symbol of the Harp and rose

Frank counts the bodies in the room.

The troll sniffs the air.

Frank sees 5 Sidhe, 2 Satyrs, a Redcap a female troll , a pooka lady with a squirrel tail, a well dressed clurichaun,2 Boggart..damn Thallian, and yes, another thallian a Spriggan, dark reflections o piskeie that like to steal children. That's not counting whoever is up on the upraised podium area

Frank backs away, seeking the holding area. There has to be one.

Well, yes, that wold be the slight steps behind the troll

Frank backs further away, back towards the door he came in from.

The troll sniffs, then ..starts to follow the smell, which kkind of works for Frank beause he's no longer guarding that little back room.

But is bad, because hee's approaching Frank

Frank slows enough to leave a scent-trail, luring him further back....

And the Auction goes on, they're not bidding... "Gentlemen, gentleme n and ladies... I remind you, i you have a hold, I will, with no aditional charge, chicanery here to act howevere you like. I spent a life time warping hearts , memeries and minds of mortals. Shall we get serious and raise it to $5000?"

Just a little further... closer to the exit... Frank readies his tire tapper.

Sniff "What the... yeah, we got a leak or something from..." And hefollows closer

Frank looks for a way to sneak around behind the other troll and knock him out.

Stars burst around the guard's head...he grunts, staggers, and tries to get up from his knees, "Son of ..."

Another strike, take him out quiet.

The guy punches Frank trying to smash the knee cap but misses and...Frank lays him low.

And out.

Frank checks to see if the alarm has been raised.

Thank god, no. But he may want to recast that veil

He does, searches the other troll in a quick pat-down, and drags him out of the way.

What's this? Key card? Good. Wallet, taken. Cellphone, perhaps take the battery out? Gun. looks like a magnum. someone is a lover of classics

He does a safety check on the weapon, tucks it away. Battery out of the phone.

It was loaded, but safety was on.
