Frank steps back inside and lets the portal close. He takes a deep breath, and reenters the hallway.

Smell of gas?

Quite thick now..open flame might..ah start something

Frank holds his breath or takes shallow ones, and creeps forward to see if the gas can get out into the auction area.

"And House Leanhaun makes a fine purchase..."

And frank can tell it's... not quite getting out there. He might want to close some doors in the hall to force it that way

He does so, carefully, keeping an eye and an ear out.

"Sorry folks" Sounds of conffusion "My assitants were suppposed to bring out the next on... Ogg-e, see what the hold up is"

Frank steps into a room, pulling the door almost shut, listening.

"Where the... holy crap. Boss..boss... the others are gone"

Frank waits to see what they do.

"I'm sorry good folk, I must askk you to withdraw, it would appear we have been compromised. Discounted rates for your trouble..." Tantalus is running right away? "I advice you to take the ones you have and go"

Frank turns away from the door and steadies himself on the wall. He gathers his focus and stomps each foot once before clapping twice and saying "He just decided to exit when he wanted to." to open another portal for his own escape.

And out Frank goes. From the outdoors he an see a leanhaun lord with two eight year old boys. he doesn't see whoever has Nita

To the cars, they are all headed to their cars. They are blowing this place, the auction has been cancelled. It would appear tantulus doesn't take the same risks he used to. Wonder why 🙂

Still Veiled, Frank follows the Leanhuan.

Making his way to the limo, the Leanhaun looks to mortal eyes like a person in his late teens, a son of wealth. to fae eyes, that sabre at his side looks sharp enough. His driver appears to be a tall Kinian woman, perhaps troll blooded herself

"Get inside" he commands the boys "Come, Lana. We need to get a move on. The cover of High Summer appears to have been blown. A pity, Tantalus had possibilities, but I fear he's lost his nerve"

Frank, desperate, casts Fugue on the Leanhaun; he spits on his hands and wipes them over his eyes. "Memory is the treasury and guardian of all things."

The fugue engulfs the Leanhaun..but..does not take a hold.

"what.. who dares ? " He turns

Frank nods, steps up to the car, bends, and rips the closest wheel off.

"Son of a..." The Sabre is drawn, but rather than attacking the fellow swings it like a sceptre "Kneel before your betters, mind your manners mind your letters and do nothing but kneel"

And Frank resists.

He shows his teeth, and pulls the closest car door to him... off.

"Damn it" the Leanhaun decide he is not up to a fight and put his sabre to a child't throat "The child is enchanted. It will feel like dying, and ...when the child comes out of the coma. A bit more winter... in a mortal soul. Or I could just kill him... if you don't back up NOW"

"Let them both go, and you walk away." Frank holds up a tire. "You're not driving anywhere."

"How do I know you'll keep your word?"

Frank just lifts an eyebrow.

"Fine...Seelie Prick. Lana, lt's go." The enchanted driver Kinian nods and unless Frank has other plans, retreats. The boys still dazed and confused, wait obediently for orders, any orders

"Over here, boys." Frank orders even as he scans the area for the last mortal.....?

THey follow him. And Frankl ooks about and...

Hears a woman's cry and the sound of something, or someone, being slammed on a car hood. 'that away'

"Boys, run. That way." He points to the rig. "Stay near the road, look for the truck and the others. I'll find you." Frank takes off in the direction of the cry.

Nita stares like a robot in some sci fi movie, inertly. So she's not the one who got knoced against the hood. "You're messing with ME, you little bitch" A Satyr, bigger than Tantalus, more savage seeming, "I have plans, finally start to get a leg up and you do this? " He is hovering over the kithain he slammed into the hood

Frank, running, judges if he can scoop up Nita and take off, or does he need to engage with the savage satyr and the other kithain?

Well, depends if he wants to save the...from this angle looks like a female eshu maybe?

He aims for the mortal but glances... his hitchhiker??

Frank slings the car wheel he's carrying at the satyr, staying on target for Nita.

Well, that worked . No body expects the Lincoln Suspension! I mean..a wheel

the satyr goes down in a heap Clutching his horned head trying to shake it off.

Frank scoops up Nita and looks around to see if he can spot the twins.

the Eshu gets up and bleeding from her nose and looks over at Frank "yeah yeah... I know..not ready. Finee fine...reckless...it seemed like a good story idea at the time"

The twins are where he told them to be

"Come on." He orders Sahu. "Building might blow up." He's already moving, Nita in his arms, following the twins towards the rig a few miles away.
