Frank appears to wave that away. "We know people who can help with that. You're not the first, or the last. Neither is Siv, for that matter."

"mmph, good point. " A deep breath, "Give me sometime to think about it?"

"Sure." They walk. "Well?"

Then he chuckles. "Kidding."

A pause, "On second thought, maybe Vali's not so bad"

then, "I don't think I'd make a good dad, but...I know I'd make betterr than than what she has, and somewhere in that ball of anger and self loathing is a great kid. Ask around, and then we'll see if she's... willing to consider me if no one better shows up."

"Honestly, you or Olgar ...would be much better, but if you really think she's best as an only child.."

Frank nods. "I do. But, nothing to say we shouldn't ask her. In fact, we might want to think about that. She's a wilder, different from a mortal teenager."

"True, true. I was slaying monsters at that age. And if someone With a kid offers, they should check with their kids first. No need for a schism from the start"

"Agreed." Frank says.

"Yeah, need to think on it, but..if there's no one else" he says, "Damn good kid i nthere somewhere"

And he quiets and walks
