"Jaymes?" He says it long, as if not believing the sounds are coming from him.

"Jaymes? " Olgar says "Jaymes barely talks."

She blinks. "I..." A pause. "You are right...I had not thought of him as an option."

"Dagmar is not always loquacious." He points out.

Brekke is quiet, thinking.

Kerri frowns, "I don't know. He's so new to this world himself...but...at the same time, maybe he needs somebody to care for."

Frank is back in his thoughts.

"Well, if the Wayburtons can help with her paperwork they can help with updating his, but..." Olgar seems surprised.

Jaymes, for his part, is not here. But has earned a lot of fondness from Lut and Tig because he's taken on duties of guarding and patroling that normally fall to them and to a lesser degree Vali. The brothers have had a lot more free time of late.

"We're talking about not just a situation where she has a cover for the mortal world that will let her be Fostered and part of our society, but something that will give her a sense of real family."

He looks at Brekke. "My.... brother. Once, at least. Family tie."

"If he's willing, of course. If they are."

OOC He was sounding it out for himself.

BIC: Olgar says, "I admit it. I did wonder if..." a shrug "Does't matter."

"What?" Asking Olgar.

Brekke says, "I can see the sense of it. And...if he is willing...it may be a very good match. But we must find out what his thoughts are on unseelie." A pause.

Kerri gives Olgar a curious look.

"Olgar...what is it?" she asks.

"I like the kid" He admits, "Kind of nice having an unseelie in the lodge besides myself. Sometimes I feel out numbered here. So I thought maybe was that, but naah, I'd probably like her even if she went Seelie."

Kerri prompts him, "So...you want us to adopt her?"

"Possibly too soon to say for sure, but I was tempted." An apologetic look to Kerri "Sorry babe, not fair not to have mentioned the idea on my own before this, to you and then Sylvi. " Then to all "But thisn't about me. It's about what's best for Dagmar, and who knows? It might help Jaymes be more..part of the lodge in his own way. I can tell Frank wants that. So... with my wife and daughter's okay... if Jaymes doesn't want to try this... then I'll make the offer." A look to Kerri, "Seem fair?"

Frank scratches his chin, thinking it over.

Kerri looks thoughtful...then nods slowly. "We'll have to talk it over with Sylvi...but if she's on board, I think I am, too. Assuming Dagmar agrees."

"Who talks to Jaymes?" A slow rumble.

"I think you do, Frank," Brekke says.

"yep. What I figured too" Olgar says.

And he gives Kerri a soft squeeze for her understanding

A grin and a squeeze back from Kerri. "I'll stock up on the scotch."

Frank nods. "I will."

"Then..." Brekke says, "...to clarify, our options are in this order...first, Jaymes, then the Wayburtons, then Kerri and Olgar, and then Frank and myself. Do we all agree?"

"Hey, Frank, when you talk to Jaymes, tell him to be a s traight shooter. The kid doesn't trust it when you gild the lily, and she's got a real hate on for what she sees as bullshit."

"I'd picked that up, yes." Dry. "Thanks."

"Olgar..." Kerri smiles.

"That brings us to another matter," Brekke says.

A look to his wife, then nods to Brekke"We're good with it. Chief, that order of things I mean."

"Olgar, Dagmar clearly needs a guide for her unseelie nature. Frank has been acting as her mentor...but would you be willing to co-mentor along with him?"

"I'd be bad for her." He clarifies.

"I do not think I agree with that, Frank" Brekke says. "But I think she does need more than you can offer alone."

"Look, my talk of enjoying company aside, I want the kid to go with ever court she feels happier being herself with On that. I think Frank and I can agree, but yeah," A mutter after "Who know lessons in Unseelie would be so in demand?"

Kerri gives an arch look, but withholds comment for the moment.

"Well, not me." Frank volunteers quietly.

Brekke sighs. "I cannot say I foresaw it, but you do provide a particular skill set in this area, Olgar. Do you agree?"

"I mean, do you agree to mentor her, along with Frank?"

"Yeah sure, lambchp and me can cover both sides" A look to Frank, "And you'd be fine, Frank. You've come a long way from the old days"

"Well, age brings decay." Sip.
