A smile "Well, he's part of the family. He has to go through it too" fondly then, just like he's said in many of these holiday pasts, "Hope you like apple cake" He knows the answer, the fun is that she knows he knows and mentions it anyway

"Ap-ple-cake!"

That gets a smile "Good. Because we've got plenty"

Zara can hear Earl trying to avoid a certain subject "Oh? Tizzy, she's doing fine... yes yes, she's made lots of friends"

Aaron looks curious but takes the supplies Zara brought him "I'll go put these away."

"Tziporah is doing well, aye."

Earl knows this is code for "The Scathach has been given the shovel speech."

"Wonderful" Hannah says

And Aaron, a smile on his face, heads to put those supplies away.
