she asks "How is Earl doing, dear?"

"Earl fares well. Very busy, of late, with commissions."

"A working man is a good man" She approves. She had her doubts about an artist's salary

"I put him in contact with my publisher - they've mostly wanted him to create covers for horror titles, but I think he would do well with gothic romance. Tziporah, does the tea suit?"

"The tea's amazing" Tziporah looks up " I like it a bit better than the last brand"

"And Earl would be great at Gothic romance covers" She beams "he's a very romantic soul"

"He does" Hanna agrees

"This variety is persian!"

"Oh!" The Eshu smiles "Thank you"

Gently. "Thank you for joining us."

"I.. gave Aaron a gift. I hope its not.. improper" she blushes as she whipers it

Zara shakes her head. "Nay. I think that was a very generous act."

"And one that I know will be taken with deep gratitude, if little commentary. Mine father is not one for many words."

"I also said a prayer for mother and father, of course."

Then she smiles "And no, your papa smiled a bit though"

"Of course."

Aaron is nearby, somehow enjoying just knowing family is close as he enjoys the wonderful food. It tastes better when family is there perhaps

"We can play board games after dessert!"

"Not Parcheesi, I get my butt kicked" Tizzy says looking at Hannah

Hannah tuts 'You do fine" Hannah is ruthless in Parcheesi

"We could do Carcassonne?"

"Okay" The Eshu says "I don't know that one"

Aaron is so shocked by this that he stops his meal

"You don't know Carcassonne?" Hannah says "Oh my"

"Ah! So it will be an excellent chance to learn. It is a game about roads."

At THAT the Eshu's eyes glimmer "Go oooon"

Zara grins, gummily. "Aye! So..." She fetches the game to show the tiles and explain the rules.

And soon the Family is engaged in a board game and fun for all

And Aaron's smiles denote a very happy Poppa indeed
