August stands and helps her move the carpet.

Coradel's sense of expert interior design lets her know the carpet does not quite match. So she reveals the closed secret ramp. But how to lower it?

She glances quickly for anything that looks like a button, pull, or lever.

The dear old baron who helped train her once told her that if House Dougal had a flaw, it was a tendency towards the practical. Thus.. she finds a sconce.. and flips it...

and the secret bridge down into the dungeon opens

August looks around for a weapon.

Uhm.. well, on the wall there are two crossed display swords. Might be decorative, might work

Coradel flips her wrist and has her blade in hand and is already heading down the ramp.

August grabs for the swords, eager to follow Coradel.

August grabs the blades and he notices tiny buttons in the hilt

And Coradel? She almost SLIDES down the ramp to speed up

He hurries to the ramp, and pushes the buttons on the way.

They make buzz saw sounds, shaking slightly

For Coradel, this is the FUN part.

Earl appears to be fighting a now headless gollem with many holes in it. The severed head of the creation is in better shape, laying on the floor still looking a LOT like the Count's true face. Earl is badly wounded but fighting to defend his lady who seems to be on the ground behind him . ... she is bleeding though it's hard to say how much.

NOr is the golem the only creation.

Nipping at the heels of the troll are whirling roombas with tiny axes on their tops

He pushes again to get them to stop and goes side-step down the ramp, controlled (as much as he can).

All this in a dungeon

Oh, Coradel throws her self at the golem, blade flashing.

where in a cell, the TRUE count groans

Possibly giving Earl an "On your right (or left)" warning as a courtesy. It's an equestrian thing.

August takes this in, and goes to the Count's cell. "Excellency......" he checks to see what holds the door shut.

It helps "Thank god. Guzrella's defeated but her creations are going nuts."

Words on the bars "Sleepy time" and "Fuzzbrain"?

And another complex lock

"August! The things on the floor!" Coradel directs him at the roombas while she slices at the golem.

"Count's the safest one here right now!" she adds.

August grimaces and turns to combat; he joins the others.

Coradel's blows on the golem find the same problem Earl has, it's form does NOT pierce well and Earl Explains "1122 helped remove rivets around the neck but it still fights and it's still tough"

August kens the golem.

Coradel wields a different sort of weapon, commanding the golem to "Disassemble!" with utter conviction that it will work.

(Looking to see if it has a protection spell of some kind)

The golem has a glow of uniformity...probably to help throw off kenning.

That said, golems traditionally have a glyph on the head. He knows this from studies

He dashes over to pick up the head and look; does it have a seam as well?

I.E. can he open the head?

Yes, thanks to it being popped loose by 1122's hard work

August opens the head and dumps the chem onto the floor.... assuming there IS a slip of paper with a magic word/words in there.

there it is..and as it comes out.. ..somethin flickers in the uniformity of the golem.. some protectionn is gone!

And as Coradel cries Dissasemble, her magic now hits it with full forces! Every lock, every joint, every part BREAKS apart!

A little victory yell!

August drops the golem's head and looks at the floor robots.

Earl's magic has lifted three in the air hovering, even as he spears another with his sword, then moves to Zara

As soon as she can, Coradel turns and stabs one of the hovering things.

August attacks the ones on the floor (if there are any) and if not then he takes one of the hovering ones.

Coradel dispatches one in the air, as August takes another on the ground

She continues to work on the robot things.

...in the sense of slicing them into inoperable pieces.

August is just as focused on nuetralizing the dangers.
