"Like a Tardis!"

"Hey, an educated group.." He opens the door for them, "Look...ladies first"

Gerd gets in "you know where this hold is?"

"Yeah" He says

And the girls get in. The interior is indeed cozy, even by troll standards.

And rather princess like... victorian... but with tiny whirling bits visible even from the interior

"Man, Nadeen would love this..."

"Yeah, she would wouldn't she?"

Wudlig gets in and taps it... "Bibbity Bobbity Go"

"Ha!"

"Okay, not to trash you but this is NOT the ride I expected you have" Gerd says

"Oh this was a commision, originally..freaking wanna be buyer tried to cheat me on the payment..." He snorts 'think of the EXPOSURE' ' he says effecting a voice that's higher pitched, delicate, and also kind of whiny

"Uhg."

"Exposure won't fill your belly or pay your rent."

"So lame" Gerd says

"Exactly..." The Nocker snorts

There's a hiss whoot sort of sound....

He looks proud "See this thing has a veil effect... not only are we really breaking the speed limit... no mortal is going to pay it anymind... even cameras will blur it"

"Nice!"

"We don't have a lot of nockers in Rivervale..." She leans in to watch the mechanics go.

"Just two really and I think Betty's moving out.. not much call for seige stuff" Gerd nods

"Yeah."

"Oh my specialty, well the banner house's specialty is crafting things for camouflage, hiding objects, locations..." A low mutter "People" The Nocker shrugs

"No way... that's cool!"

"Thanks. The other Dougals find it a bit iffy, but when you think about it, the art of using craft to hide things goes WAY back. Secret passages, hidden chambers..smugglers holes.." He says proudly

"Totally. Plus stage magic."

Dagmar looks out side the window nervously

"Oh you'd love one of my fellow BaNnerhousemate.. she's a catpooka, stage magic is her jam"

"Nifty."

"She once helped with an act where the audience vanished... even they didn't know where they were"

Gerd looks out the window again "Hey geeze we really did go fast"

"I wonder..." She looks at Gerd.

A siren wails into hearing behind them...

And a stern voice, tinny over a loudspeaker "You are approaching Silverwolf territory. Please pull the.... whatever that is!... over!"

"I thought this veiled!" Gerd says

Dagmar tenses.

"It is.. against mortals and TECH... I can veil it from two of three... and never plants. I cannot fool plants" The nocker sighs and pulls the pumpkin over

"So it's not a mortal cop?"

"Silverwolf territory?" He says "Not likely"

It takes a moment for the patrol car to pull up behind them, catching up to their speed, and pulls to the side. And a troll officer, a rather harried looking woman with blue-grey skin and blond hair pulled back into a stern braid under her cap, approaches the chariot.

"I don't know if I should ask for license and registration, or a produce sticker. Do you have any idea how fast you were going there?"

"Not really..." She admits.

"About a hundred and twenty five EASY" The nocker says proudly

She checks for license plates... and feels a headache coming on.

Gerd looks confused "I'm sorry... it may sound arrogant, but we're trying to get to the freehold, ma'am. We have a childling missing. We believe he came up here"

"He snuck off without telling anyone. Tricked a kinain into driving... not sure exactly how he did that one, actually..."

Her vest tag reads Ofc. Marshall. "That's no excuse for breaking the law. Out on the open highway you can open up, but you're just a few miles from township borders and we have pedestrian traffic, children playing, and we don't want anyone to get squashed." Stern voiced, she says, "That was a joke, Squashed. But that's no laughing matter."

And then she blinks, processing back a sentence or two. "You after the Lowell boy?"

"You see, Dame Dagmar had received an Invitation from the lord of these lands and said ch8ildling might come along but sadly, he went off without an escort. We were hoping to stop a possible political incident and undue trouble for either"

"Yes!" Gerd says

"I mean, yes' thank you, officer" She corrects
