"Elkins, West Virginia?" He double checks the note "Yes, huh"

"Yes. One of the states that makes Iowa look fancy smancy"

"Well, conceal some of your contempt for the yokels, hm?"

"I'll try not to sneer at them with my high Iowan farm living" He nods sagely "When do we go? I mean.. Idon't want to miss evening meal"

"You're right. I'll go alone. I'm a big boy, and your family and you need to gether time"

He kisses her on the forehead

"What? No!"

"Zara, you said yourself it could be a trap. Wouldn't the smart thing be for me to spring the trap then have you rescue me if tht was needed?"

And kisses her lightly

"Never been there before " Getting his painting and other things.

"So I'll get us as close as possible. Oh snot, we can't rent a car can we? Closed"

"Correct, we must needs... ah.. hoof it."

"Trust me" He winks

"You want to tell your folks w'ell be out for a bit?"

Earl nods "I think they'll understand. Wilders got to wild"
