Earl is up to something...

indeed, the uncles are talking...

as Earl explains to the family while Zara is supposed to be out "So, it's a combination prom and graduation, well graduation and prom in that order. Held at Earth runes... and, well, I think it would mean a lot if you were theere to see the graduation part."

Hirim looks disgruntled. "What, all of us?"

'Supposed to be' being a key phrase... Zara catches familiar voices and lurks out of sight.

"Well, I was thinking Aaron, Hannah, and Miriam for sure... then I thought, this is Zara, if you two..." A look to Ratchet and Hirim "Dont' show up, she might get a bit paranoid about why. I know you guys have busy lives.... but I love this woman, and you love her, and I think she really wants to be among those few at this ceremony to get that recognition of her hard work. "

Hirim glowers "You think?"

"I know," he says, he's not immune to HIrim's glower but he doesn't squirm like he did in earlier days, "She worked hard, nocker hard. Sides, Hirim, you're insanely proud of her and I know that too. Won't kill you to show up but it would mean a lot to her. If transporation is a problem, we can work it out.

Show up for what? A little frown.

"I still remeber how to use a trod, boychik!!" With heat.

Hannah clears her throat. "Excuse me, but.... when you say we should go.... what do you mean, exactly? How?"

"Well, ma'am' He says respectfully, "Plane train or automobile if flickerflash makes you nervous. There would be a light enchantment. The baroness there is very kind as she is a Liam ally."

Zara squirms behind the hutch, still frowning. This is a plot!

"I mean, don't we all agree that zara should get what's been coming to her?"

"Hmmph." Hirim folds his arms over his chest.

Ratchet sighs. "Yes. Of course. Suppose it's time."

Hannah still seems a bit puzzled, almost Aaron-like. Aaron listens soberly. "I'm not sure I understand all the details but...." He nods slowly.

Are they currently enchanted?

Earl coughs "Sorry, if you have transportation problems I can help." He assures, "And I have an aquainence who can pay for plane tickets"

"Well, I think we can take care of that ourselves." Hannah fusses.

"Listen me, boychik." Hirim butts in. "Hannah and Aaron, they've only been to the local place a few times. Ceremonies, vershtay? Need a plan for them if the Fiona out there go meshuginah. You -know- how they get." He puffs.

"I trust her, but... I can arrange a quick egress if need be....like a flash" he says

and he's very glad he knows both aaron and hannah welll enough. That realm isn't his strong suit

"Hmmph."

"...Why are you flickering my parents anywhere?"

Earl nearly jumps out of his azure skin

NOW all the Himmlefarbs and Schwartz's jump as well.

Dark eyes look at the little gathering of conspirators.

"Heey.. zara who I thought was at the library and told me she would be... for like another hour" Earl mutter mumbles

Hirim is muttering curses in Yiddish. Maybe -that- is where she gets it from?

An eyebrow.

The H&S crew are engaged in the coordinated, synchronized, Floor-and-Ceiling Inspection Team.

Arms folded!

Now the eyebrow he finds adorable. He's a troll, he's been eyebrowed by elders. BUT he is smart enough not to just say it is adorable.

.... except for Hirim who shoots to his feet and sputters "Zara! You coulda give me a heart attack! Is that what you want? Me? Dead? Heart attack??"

"Zara, I'm trying to arrange with the help of others, something special for you. And it's very hard to keep it special if you learn everything too fast." Earl says, "And see, you've nearly given your Uncle Hirim a heart attack."

Hirim massages his chest and kicks Ratchet. Hannah rolls her eyes as Ratchet looks at Hirim. "What?"

"I don't feel so good!"

"Pshaw. No heart attack."

"You want I should have one, being surprised?"

"You're young, you'll live" Earl says perhaps sounding just a bit yiddish himself there without meaning to.

"Feh."

Hirim is still milking it. Ratchet sighs and stands.

"Hehe, nobody believes you."

"You hear!! She doesn't care, I could drop dead right here and she's step over my cooling corpse she would!!!"

"Now, Hirim, I'm sure she'd go around, she doesn't have that big a stride."

"You say thus, but you are conspiring about me, behind my back!"

"We are conspiring for you," earl says, and moves to her to take her hand, "you trust me, don't you?"
