"Floursecent" he sighs "Can't paint by those. " then "Well, I was thinking that once your mother went off grocery shopping, You might help me out of this armor? Perhaps in your room?"

"Aye... it must be terribly restrictive...." A pause, and a 'listening' expression. "Mama? I am going up to my room."

He smiles and when she is ready to either go herself, or give him the go ahead, makes his way to that same chamber

And once there, she is MOST meticulous in taking off his armor... and very generous in what her definition of armor is ...

What a wonderful and attentive hind she is.

Earl sighs, their love making had been wonderful, but noticing that she's apparently got an idea in he head, he says "You're fidgeting. A fellow could worry about performance."

She nestles against him, a very bony little spoon. "I am thinking. Mayhaps... mayhaps I could go to Firnost, and at least SEE him with mine own eyne. I could hide in the walls..."

"Or you could do what I was thinkng of doing..." Better to risk her wrath "ANd yes, I was considering doing it alone . I was going to have Clem Elder Form me to a different appearance entirely and hang around firnost in disguise."

"That... is a possibility..."

"I must needs be a sluagh. The whisper..."

"And you musn't go alone. I forbid it."

A nod "Unless you masqueraded as a Swan pooka whose mute"

At her forbidding, he nibbles her ear "Not even if I assure you I am mighty troll? "

"Not even then!"

He kisses the ear lobe softly instead then, "You have me, my heart. but I would ask that in return you not go alone to this meeting or even spying in person?"

"I know I should not."

A frustrated noise. "I just... I want to see the face he wears."

"I know," He says "It eats at you but I do not think it's unreasonable for me to be along in the patrolling and scouting?"

"Nnnnnno. It's not. Though deception is not your strong suit."

"Hence the disguise idea" he says

"The rest of the time I end up locked in mad embrace with a witch and loving every minute of it. " he smiles "I know you are the master of sneaking. but I am not bad even for a non troll and a disguise might make me just another transient"

"We can go to the Farm the secret way, aye? And I believe Clem's magic is beyond the protections of Emmit's charm..."
