(At the Himmelfarb's tonight)

Obviously - as Hirim can't be expected to travel far. After dinner, Hannah and Zara taking care of putting dishes in the sink to wait for cleaning.

In the living room, the men read. And snooze. But mostly read. There's reading material on laps.

There's reading.

Zara returns to the living room, cradling a cup of tea and with a book under her arm.

The Uncles sit on the couch. Aaron has his chair.

A happy sigh. Quiet. She finds her usual spot.

Aaron clears his throat. "So." Softly, not to disturb the reading. "A game?"

"We could, yes."

"What were you thinking?" She looks over at Aaron, a smile creeping into place. At the moment, at least, she seems utterly content.

"Mm. Board game? Chess?"

"Well, I think Hirim is sleeping again... so, why not?"

"Mm? Chess?" Hirim takes a breath and looks up. "Hm?"

"No, we're leaving soon." Says Ratchet.

"Leaving?"

"On Shabbos?"

"What, soon? So soon? Just finished dinner."

Ratchet - "We can walk. Do us good."

"Why are you leaving? Where are you going?"

"You want privacy, we can go home..."

"Might spend some time... " Ratchet looks away, shrugs. "You know. In the shops."

"Well - holiday, of course..."

"New fire. Earl, I think he's helping firebrands..."

"So. In the shops, nu?"

'Boychik is working?" Hirim asks.

"Boychick is gentile."

"And Imbolc, it's important, nu?"

"Hmph."

Hirim and Ratchet exchange a glance.

"Hannah...." Hirim.

"Yes?" Placid, reading.

"What's happening?"

"No, only... Shabbos and Im... something else. So, Hannah, I need Zara to help me. Tonight." Hirim pauses. "Home. I need her to help me home, walking. A mitzvah, yes?"

"I can...." she rises.

"Yes, yes" And there is a gathering of nockers, and one sluagh, and exchanges made and soon all the Fae are on the sidewalk.

"Oy."

"You look much better, Hehe."

"Better? What. I'm fine. Nevermind." He limps along sourly, Ratchet at hand and Zara on Ratchet's arm at his insistence."

"Feh. Fine as an onion."

"What? What's wrong with an onion?"

"Nothing, Hehe.'

"Nothing wrong with an onion. Onions are good!"

"I know."

A few blocks go by in quiet. "You ok, Zara?" Hirim mutters.

"I'm glad you're better, if that's what you mean. I'm sorry I wasn't here..."

"I was scared, seeing you in the hospital. You want to go to the Hollow, a little while? Glamour is good."

"You think?" Hirim puffs, leaning on Ratchet as much as his cane. "You didn't need to be there. But. Glad you are here. You had an adventure, yes?"

She gums on her lower lip and nods. "Did Ratchet tell you?"
