"No, let's use a travel mug. Easier to get the straw into." He tests it with a finger. "Idyot didn't make it too hot...?"

"He boiled it. Need another ice cube?" her whisper is flat, barely heard. She's already going to get said ice.

"Mmm.... no. It'll be ok." He collects up what he needs. "Coming?"

She shakes her head. "Going to finish cleaning up. Be like I'm not here, promise."

Ratchet shrugs. "Suits yourself." He kisses her forehead, and takes things upstairs.

Zara accepts the kiss, and turns back to her work. She leaves without saying goodbye, without a trace of her presence.
