Everything is fine. The sun is shining. The birds are singing. And Jojo is full of decaf.

Siv comes in from a patrol, reaches for JoJo, and gets a nice cup of... she sips and chokes "GAH!"

Trolls are supposed to be stoic, and Siv has never been a master of that trait, and that is certainly true now as her face scrunches up in an expression of betrayal.

Up in the rafters, there is a pleased puffing of feathers.

"Oh, Jojo, who hurt you?" Siv coughs and looks at Jojo with concern.

The troll below her is tall, of course, but compared to some trolls she's almost short. Siv takes Jojo and empties him out to replace a fresh CAFFEINATED batch for him, "There we go. Poor wee thing. Was it Rikki ? Ah, what a time not to have willow whisper."

Boo. Only one victim.

Spoilsport troll!

Siv starts nosing around, "Wonder if the culprit is still here?"

The pigeon scrunches down.

Siv stops, "LIly? You up there?" Siv looks to the rafters

And starts to lift herself up with a jump and treating it like a pull up bar.

Ack, Big Blue Pirate woman approaching! Discovery eminent, Danger will robinson!

Nope! FLY!

She's off with a clatter of feathers - pigeons are strong flyers. Agile. Fast. But they are not quiet.

"What the... " The pooka flies... but did she have the sense to make sure there was an open window or way out?

Oh bless, there IS a window open to the breeze. Escape is in sight!

Siv 's left lip twitches, and if one spoke troll, one might recoginze it is a 'chase is on then' and she bounds after the bird try to catch her before she can get out the window! Not with intend to harm, but that doesn't mean our pooka heroine (debatable that last part if you asked her brothers) wants to be caught!

Amity has dodged hawks and skywolves and bored teenagers!

Siv is a swashbuckling rope swinging acrobatic Fiona! BUt... Amity had an escape plan (That's our story) and in her heritage are WW1 Heroes who helped lick the Kaiser (He tasted terrible as all pigeons know) and she evades Siv like an X-Wing evading a non sith operated Tie-fighter and makes it to the outdoors , a satisfying 'thud' behind the birb!

Rather than a curse, there's a bit of a laugh from the thumped troll.

Those notes of birdsong in her wake sound an awful lot like laughter, too!

"Win some lose some" Siv can be heard to say then looks at Echo "Fat lot of good you were." / Echo wags. He was told that Amity was a friend and welcome so, no fur off his skin this.

It is possible treats were involved, but Echo is usually above bribes.

Amity makes her way and sees someone approaching the lodge, a HUGE redcap, not troll sized but big. This must be that Dirk guy.

Oh hello...

This guy hurt Les.

Dirk ambles along, a swaggering intiidating fellow... from down there.

She lands on a branch, keeping him in line of sight. She sings, just a bird - mourning dove calls are certainly plenty common.

He doesn't pay her any mind. Just a bird, and she'd barely be a mouthful.

Coo-OOO oh oh oh. And his shoelace goes tug-tug-tug, pulling loose as a trip hazard when it tangles around his ankles.

Redcaps eat a lot of things... Burgers, Metal, concrete bits, bone... but in this case.. Dirk sways , goes "WHAT THE FU..." And he eats dirt! Slamming into the ground

Amity chortles.

The stream of cursing is sub par, really, Mom would have opinions about the lack of imagination! And Les is FAR more inventive in profanity!

Triumphant and her brother avenged, Amity may just feel empowered.

She fluffs up her ruff, quite pleased.

Hey, a bird feeder! A beautifully crafted one at a Barn like House not so far from the lodge. Someone put in the most elegant work into the bird feeder. Other birds flutter in, get some grub (Well, seeds) and fly out. She probably doesn't need the seed, but it's really very nice for a perch. She doesn't know Tove yet, but she's meeting the work the woman does as a hobby beyond her music.

Pranking IS hungry work...

Mmm quality stuff here, this lady actually takes CARE with the bird seeds of choice. Nearby, she sees a Blue Jay trying to chase off a Robin

Well, Blue Jays are jerks. But so are robins, soooo.

meanwhile, to the pigeon goes the spoils!

"Well, aren't you a clever one." Another troll, a female grump, but only barely, and with a gentle smile, "Nice to see the seed mix I put up is a hit."
