"Well," Jack Flap scratches his chin, "I guess it's okay." He's not crazy about it in his garden, but it IS winter, also this isn't HIS garden so much as.. the lodge's . His mom's garden is also nice, but both are closed for the winter

So he can't really gripe about the new addition. He can work around it.

"It's WONDERFUL," Layne beams, "I wonder who did it?"

"it's going to upset her" Lily whispers wrapped up like a furry noodle to fight the cold.

"She's a hero, this is normal for heroes" Ylva says 'But I don't know who did it either"

The kids gather around the Life Sized Statue of Dagmar, admiring the likeness

There she is, Flyswatter in one hand at the ready, and in the other, a fawn she craddles protectively. The words 'Sub umbra mea In parvis vigemus' are at the base.

"She's got Parvo?" Otto looks worried

"oh now that would be interesting" Lily considers "But , alas, she seems in perfect health"

"Lily... be nice." Layne tuts

"I'd rather be myself," Lily whispers but makes no more comments about sickness.

"I suppose I could grow some roses around it come spring" Jack Flap says "Think she'd like that?"

"That would look pretty" Cleo says, frustrated by the snow shoveling... the snow keeps FALLING after she tidies it up. Fortunately, her friends talked her down

"Who could have done this? The mystery remains" Lily mmms

"Could it have been Connor?" Layne says "He IS her squire."

"Tish tosh," Lily says "She is HIS knight. Though, it twould be an interesting prank, and he IS a pooka" Thoughtful

"Darn pooks, putting up statues, stealing our jerbs" Otto shakes his fist

Ylva raises a brow at the pooka boy, then turns back to the others "So ANYWAY... Maybe Lily is right and she won't like it..."

"maybe I'm right?" Lily sniffs.

"IF that's the case, we need to find a way to mov e it for her fast" Ylva says

Layne ponders this, "Well, she's an important hero, we can't just feed her to Swila. It would teach Swila the wrong lessons."

"Margilta could carress it" Otto mentions

"Magilta wouldn't carress it," Layne says "She's blow it up"

Lily covers her ears at first, then considers that earplugs might be worth it "terrorism? I've never partaken"

The wilder nocker IS considered for this.

"First we have to get Dagmar's opinion before we do anything to it" Layne says "It should be HER choice."

"Spoil sport" Jack Flap mutters

"She'll despise it" Lily repeats, lamenting folks don't listen even when they hear

But what Diabolical mastermind DID this? The world may never know. The world may never ever know

until the right omen is cast, or maybe a willow whisper, or a lot of detective work, or asking around and seeing who spills what... but other wise, the world may NEVER know
