Kerri paces a bit. "Actually...you might need to direct him for a little while. Until this calms down. You said you told him to go home and sleep?"

Seeing the posture, Kerri rests a hand on her shoulder.

"Um. I said he needed to sleep and eat. I didn't exactly tell him to go home, I don't think."

Her jaw tightens and her eyes squint. She could use her own advice, probably.

Dagmar gets a text.

She fishes her phone from her pocket. "Sylvi's looking for Sy, too." A sigh.

TXT: I saw him a few hours ago but no

TXT: K, listen: Cairrean just called me at GF, freaking out. Says Symon's dangerous. Not sure I believe her.

TXT: just showed up, will see what she knows

"....Fuck."

"What is it?" Kerri asks.

She shows Kerri the phone.

Kerri blows out a long exhale. "Well...maybe it's time we went over to his house."

She rubs her face with both hands. "I'll go, This is my fault,"

"I think you'll need help."

TXT: says he's HUNTING

TXT: trying to find out location

She swallows, shoulders curling further inwards, and dials Symon's number.

Kerri frowns. "What's happening?"

She holds a finger up while the phone rings.

Her knee is bouncing.

He answers!

"Dagmar." His voice, not a whisper this way, sounds pleasantly surprised.

"I'll have to call you back, okay?"

"Hey Sy. Um, actually, I was wondering if you could swing by the Lodge?"

"I will." His soft voice eager. "I just have to take care of things here first. You'll see. I'm fixing everything."

"How about I come to you? Where are you at?" Her eyes widen, and she's tense.

Kerri listens to this half of the conversation, also growing tense.

"You need to rest, and eat something. Stay safe. I'll see you soon. Don't worry. I have Qetz with me. Oh, I have to go. Sorry!

(shuffling noises), and in the distance, a long, low sound, a horn? Echoing over water.

"Symon, please! We're a team, right?"

Did he hear her? Maybe not, because she hears a decidedly feminine shriek! And a muffled hiss from Symon, and the call drops.

Dagmar rises. "Fuck. Fuck. This is my fault. I have to go."

"I'm going with you," Kerri says in a tone that doesn't brook argument.

"Fine. You'll have to hold on." She takes off for her bike.

"Nope." She's grabbing her own helmet. "It's summer, and my girl is already gassed up."

Dagmar might have forgotten that Kerri and Olgar regularly go out on their bikes.

A few moments later, and Kerri's ready to follow.

"Dock 94!" And she's off, peeling rubber.

Two motorcycle engines roar off towards the shore.

Olgar orders pizza, including some of his wife's favorite. He's not sure where she is or what she's up to, but with Sally Mae and Brogan out, it's either FFYS (Totally fair) or a rare treat. Pizza from a certain Boggan run Italian restaurant now it is. He'd just order Pizza hut, but when your wife is the Hearth, you don't want to burn bridges.

"Do I want extra meat on that? Come on, who are we talking to here?" He says on the phone

They agree to tripple it for one pizza
