Oak LOOKS at Frank and puts his head in Frank's lap

"Mmm." More ear rumpling. "We haven't discussed it, but I'd like to."

Oak perks up!

Vali smiles "Well, if my vote matters, it's Aye. Take him with you. The big guy will love Alaska"

Sylvi looks to where her parents have vanished into the kitchen, then rises. "Um...excuse me, please. I'm going to head back."

"Safe travels, Sylvi." he bids her before nodding to Vali. "I'll speak to Brekke about it."

Sylvi nods and leaves without another word.

"Later, Sylvi" He watches her go, then looks to Frank "I think she's a bit shook by this."

"Understandably."

At that Vali nods, then says "Frank. Do you want me to make some copies of your old journals so you can take hte originals with you while I keep the copies here for the Mountain desk?"

His beard moves; "Thank you, Vali, but no. They belong here. I have the memories I need."

Vali chuckles deeply "Then I envy you that."

"Well, you're making your own memories." He points out.

"This is true. My son maybe spending more time here. I don't want to miss out, you know?" A sip

"mmm when can I tell Gerd?"

"I think, now that this group has been addressed, Brekke's intent is for the news to spread. She may wish to make a formal announcement at an occasion, however; best to ask her."

A nod "I will." he rises "Thanks, Frank and I'm happy for you two." He offers a hand

"Thank you." He shakes, man to man.

Just so. Then Vali pets Oak too, "Gonna miss you too, boy. Be good" And out heg oes

Oak wags, and lays his head in Frank's lap again. Yup. He's with his person.

"Good boy." Softly.
