Because Kerri woke up with

A) An arm wrestling award

B) A MUD Wrestling award

Oh, absolutely mud wrestling.

Well, there's also remnants of mud.

Like a bowling trophy, depicting two amazons up to their knees about to clash

That stuff's not easy to wash off in one go.

Kerri gives the trophy a bleary look, then turns to Olgar. "I blame you."

"How can you blame me when memories are so garbled?" He points out, but seems more amused than offended at the accusation

"Because I know you." She flops back onto the bed and puts a pillow over her head.

Olgar knows his wife's subtle signals for "hangover."

"I think you're neglecting the contribution of your own competitive streak" He says "Remember the arm wrestling of yesteryear? Or the bullriding?"

That said, he gets her a concotion that won't 'cure' but will soften the hang over. It maybe bitter to swallow, but it will help

A sigh from under the pillow as he goes.

When he returns, she's actually propped up a bit, and she's looking at the statuette with a mildly baleful glare.

"Thankyou," she mutters as she accepts the drink and drinks as much as she can in one gulp without gagging.

"Blehhhh..." A shudder, but she knows it'll help.

"You're welcome" He says "Want to risk another gulp?"

"In a minute." Her hair is a mess, and there are streaks of mud on the back of her neck. Another sigh. "Well...at least I won."

"You did... I remember a lot of pride if it helps... And.. being more than a little turned on."

That gets a grin. "I remember..." She thinks for a moment. "Slipperiness. And the taste of mud." She chugs the rest of the drink and sets the glass aside.

"We'll get you a nice shower"

"Mmph. Yes, please." She starts to get up, and realizes she's wearing an oversized t-shirt with a bar logo on it.

"I think this is yours."

"Looks better on you" He grins "But feel free to take it off as it's just us here. "They had at least made it back home to their bedroom with award and all. Trailing mud mind you

A smirk. "You promised me a shower," she points out, grabbing her bathrobe.

"I see... well, I guess you COULD use help getting your back washed" A promise

"Yes, baths and perfumes for the conquering hero," she orders, voice still hangover rough.

She goes to him and takes his arm, murmuring, "Happy After-Samhain, stud."

He is happy to have his arm taken and gives her a squeeze "Spoiling you with baths and perfumes always makes me happy, babe. Any holiday of the year or day after" And soon, he is tenderly spoiling her rotten while she heals from her hang over. A ltitle TLC is forthcoming
