Dagmar is acting Storm, and patrols are going fairly smoothly! Vali keeps records. And gets reports to show later

"So... a chimreical cat with butterfly wings?" He asks

"Yeah. Imaginary friend, but strong enough to have survived."

"They don't always last" he says impressed, "Any requests for mountain duties on this besides the making a note?"

"Mm."

"That Dreamer would maybe do better at the Apartments than where she's at."

"The apartments aren't cheap for Non Kithain and non Kinain" He frowns "She may have trouble swinging it" A beat "oh... you're hoping Rikki's dad can make an exception for her?"

She chews on her lower lip and nods.

"She is a Dreamer."

"And as Mountain, I have pull on matters spiritual, including Dreamers. You know, Rikki maybe a pain sometimes but her dad's a good man. I think I can talk him into giving her the 'special' rates" A nod "Are you wanting to call dibs on her as your Dreamer?"

She frowns. "Am I here enough? I dunno."

"I get her..."

"But that doesn't mean I 'get' her, right?"

"How about I just spread the word that anyone who abuses her has YOU to answer to?" He offers kindly "You have a rep of 'don't fuck with '"

She considers, and nods.

He nods "Maybe Jonas, Siv and Piper can check on her, they'll live nearby after all?"

"Maybe? Maybe Etsy, too."

"I thought you didn't like Etsy?" He says surprised

"Well... it's not that I don't like her."

"Okay. Open ear if you want to share, but I'll make sure to ask Etsy to look after her as well"

"Etsy's just... a lot."

Realization "Mmm she does come out a bit loud and large for us shy types"

"A bit."

"Dirk also has a claim."

"With terror, but hey."

"Dirk also has a claim" He makes a note "Peacemaker Dirk gets the terror. Check"

"I mean, it's Dirk."

A grin "You know, Dirk started out as abully brat punk... Sylvi is the one who saw potential in him . Well, Kerri too I suppose"

A pause "And then the Chief." A nod "I guess they were right"

"Good work, Substitute Storm" He says then smiles "Brekke's gonna be proud of you guys"

A quiet smile.

"Anyone want some chocolate Pie ?" From the kitchen, Sally Mae calls out

"Yes please!"

"Yes Please from me too!" Vali says

Sally Mae grins as she brings it out "Whip Cream ... optional. You both have been working really hard so... a treat is earned"

And a treat is enjoyed!
