"We are certain Tidemarch is not her ally?" Brekke asks Siv.

"From what i hear, Tidemarch actually stepped in front of Ellie to protect her, but it turned out to be needless as the little Countess has fierce dictim."

"Hm." She still seems suspicious, but is willing to let it go. She looks to Frank again. "I think it is a good idea, as well. The 'vacation.'"

Siv nods "Jessica can make the invite official so it looks like her idea too"

A brow. "Would that not be suspicious? Her hold was almost just bombed, so she invites her parents for a vacation in that very hold?"

"A show of strength." Frank rumbles.

"A show of family respect I think. Remember, she invited the Hearth and Uncle Olgar. There is precedent"

"It was not a time of crisis at that moment...but the point is taken." A nod. "Let us do this."

Frank nods. "I will tell her."

Siv makes a mental note to text Jessica with news too so she has both sides of things "I figure Hearth and Mountain can handle things here , maybe Dagmar on the weekends would temp handle storm? Squire Valter has the patrols down too"

"Mm." Frank agrees.

Brekke nods, and she looks at the door. "How quickly?" She seems eager to be on the way.

"I will call, you pack?" Frank suggests pragmatically.

Packing seems to be an irritating delay, but she nods and goes upstairs to begin the process.

Siv texts to her sister TXT: Dad about to call. They're coming to investigate

TXT: So mission achieved in a weird way

Frank goes to call.

And Siv looks at the empty area around her "I suppose you wonder why I've called you all here" A jest
