Clearly Layne hadn't considered how nervous she'd likely get on a crowded bus.

Layne's brows knit "I hadn't thought about that"

Even now, she could imagine how a new bus route could end up with pressed like cattle to find an awkward seat

Layne glared at the fourth wall "Narrators are jerks"

Layne hurumphs "Well, maybe I'll make a new changeling friend. Some kids moved in, and they're sained and everything and just looking for new kithain their own age"

That would require players to make a new one. And they're rather busy.
