"Eight thousand dollars. Which... I mean, I know for some that's not much but for me..."

"Yes, it's more than a little. And...you already spent it." Kerri ponders quietly as she has a sip of tea.

"I could ask some better off friends, but this is MY screw up. My dishonor. I need to fix it. I am still a troll, darn it"

A stubborn look that looks so much like Vegard's old expression when his dander was up that it might bring back memories

"Trust me, I'm not trying to say you won't have to fix it. We just need to figure out the best way to do so." A pause. "Were you sworn to secrecy about any of these errands?"

"I mean, obviously you're able to tell me, but were you sworn not to reveal the details of what was transported?"

"I wasn't supposed to open the items or peek the messages" She says

"Okay...." The gears are turning. "But you would be able to tell me where the messages were delivered to? And whom they're from?"

She ponders "I suppose I would"

A slow nod. "Right." A pause. "I'm trying to figure out if that information would be worth eight thousand dollars for somebody."

"And I suspect we might need to speak to somebody else to find out."

"Must we? I'm mortified enough as it is" She says

"Better than being mortified and still obliged to work for these people if you can't pay off the debt in time."

Wince "My old enemy, logic"

Kerri grins. "The person I have in mind is Siv. I think she'd be sympathetic to having problems to solve."

"Siv? I....what if she gets all Fiona about it?"
