"Oh....well, I can't imagine it would take all that long. Perhaps a week or so?"

"Pretty one too. I ought to know" Siv says "I've got an eye for goat flesh" Deadpan "Ask Piper"

An amused look at Siv.

He looks like he might speak, then doesn't.

"Of course she's pretty." he says after he swallows his bite.

The food is , of course, Delicious

"She always was" Siv concedes

"Well, that can wait for tomorrow. Adam, I hope you'll accept an offer to stay here for a few days?"

"I appreciate the offer very much, Hearth, but I really should get back and make arrangements." with some regret.

A blink. "So quickly?"

"You still have the lodge phone number?" Siv asks "I could also give you my contact info if you like? "

"I, uh... I have a new phone. I guess I don't have the numbers, no."

"And yes, Health. As fast as possible."

"Oh, " Siv gets him the numbers

And Sally Mae say "Take the paperwork with you if you like to look over, Adam"

"No need, Sally Mae; if you have a pen I'll sign it now."

And he programs the numbers into his phone when they're given."

"Well, then please don't hesitate to come back, should you need a place to stop or any help."

Sally Mae gives him the pen as he's finished up with dinner, and takes his empty dishes to the kitchen

(He ate about half of it)

He scans the documents.

They look legit as best he can say

He could ask for more

He finds the right spots and signs them.

"Be well, Adam" Sally Mae says "Glad you're okay"

Kerri gives Siv a glance, then stands. "Well, Adam, it is good to see you." She sounds like she means it. "Please don't be a stranger, okay?" She turns and goes into the kitchen.

He stands as well. "Yes, Hearth, thank you."

Siv says "I'll escort ye if you like? Not that you need one with your skills but I got my energy back"

He looks at Sally Mae and Siv. "You don't have to tell my family I was here." a repetition for Siv.

Siv sighs "As ye like. I think you should tell Lily at least, but okay"

Sally Mae frowns, but nods

"Thanks."

"And thanks for the offer, Siv, but I'll be fine."

"Aye. Lions land on their feet" Siv concedes "Safe travel to ye"

"And you." He picks up his battered backpack and shoulders it.

And they watch him go.

He pauses at the door and nods. "Thanks again." and he's gone.

Oak follows him a bit but can only do so far

and when Oak returns. Adam is gone.

And Siv? Siv takes the glass Adam was drinking from. She is, after all, a spy. And contengencies are very black widow
