Weeks after Samhain, thanksgiving day is now on everyone's mind and upcoming! not a changeling holiday officially, and yet , it has a magic too. One of gratitude , family, and friends

School is out this week!

Dagmar is a-horseback!

It's a team up! For Star trots happily with her person back

Siv waves "She's acting like a colt herself , all that prancing"

Smile, shrug. "Guess we missed each other."

Siv grins wolf like "Aye. We all take turns feeding her during the week, but she always gives this look like 'oh, it's you' when anyone but you, Connor, or mom does it"

Star makes no apologies as she circles about Siv while her rider and she talk

She pats Star's neck. "Well, she'll get used to you. You can ride her, she needs the exercise."

"She's less pissy than Stormwake, by far."

"Oh Stormwake just is picky, but thank you" Siv says "I'm no horse woman, but I'll give her a bit of an exercise and she'll teach me proper I'm sure. "

Star gives a horse nicker. Were she a troll and not a horse, it might come across as 'well, I AM a good teacher yes'

"Exactly. She's a diva, she knows how she likes to be treated."

"Sometimes a brat."

A horsey humph

"Does the Gwydion boon work on horse lies?" Siv inquires with a wink "Just asking for a friend"

Grin.

Star refuses to dignify this with a response

Siv chuckles, then says "It's good to have ye back, cousin mine. Nice to have more folks close to my age again here at the lodge proper. Like Goldfinch but iwth Piper visiting her bio da, and Jonas busy, I actually feel a bit grumped out. Mountain Pillar duty can be dull. "

"I feel too old for Goldfinch, sometimes. Or too young. I dunno. I feel the wrong age."

"Like a skirt that you can wear for a night but after the evening is done you just want back in your jeans?"

"Either way, I for one am glad you prefer the lodge" Siv says "Piper loves Goldfinch and I'm happy to visit, but it's not where the heart lies for me"

Star takes this break to check for carrots

"That... yeah, that's a fair metaphor."

Why was she blushing about skirts, though?

Siv's Fiona sense goes off, "Not there's anything wrong with changing up the wardrobe now and then. Sylvi's got a better eye than I do." Brow lift "You getting to try new looks at college?"

"Uh.. not exactly? Not really. Um. There were some weird voile things for Samhain - the Dreaming kept putting folks in costume early."

"Yeah? Were they dark and sinister?"

"My friend Masey, she thinks it's because there's not a central freeholder to keep things in check."

"Oh, nah. I was Luisa Madrigal."

"Okay, see yeah, she's like the opposite of sinister..." A brow "masey? New friend?"

"Yeah? I think so."

"She... Samhain's fuzzy, you know how it is, but we hung out. Went to a party."

Siv noticed the shift of color ,but isn't cruel. She wants to gush and ask about what is causing the blush but instead asks "And she showed you around. She sounds nice"

Siv says this politely , and does not show any urge to clap or ask for juicy details

"She is nice! She's a satyr, so..."

"Oh," A nod "Well, most satyrs I know are cool but I have a bias. They do know where to find good parties, or get one started. Masey dropping by sometime?" Curious "We could always make another seat at the dinner table"

"No pressure though" she adds
