"Vaaaaaa-li?" Piper calls from outside, curious to see if the Mountain is still there.

Oak wags and gives a greeting bark. The door opens and Vali sees them they see him "HEY"

"Told you we'd be back!"

Dagmar follows, carrying her packs. "Hey."

"Ohhh, are those fresh turnovers I smell?"

Satyr, Troll, Troll... Troll?

A tall troll wilder that piper doesn't recognize smiles at ladies walk in

Brekke looks up from her fireside seat where she had been contemplating the flames. "Ah! You have returned." She stands and moves to meet them, then pauses at seeing the bonus troll. A nod to yet another newcomer.

"Sure are" Djalis offers the tray

She looks him up and down, curiously. After all, looking doesn't hurt.

Handsome kind of fellow

"Chief! Great! Hi, this is Squire Valter. There's a story."

"Chieftain Brekke, we kinda, uh. Brought him for you. Surprise?"

"There was a Sea-Dragon."

"And a Selkie Baroness!"

The squire does not look like a squire. He is near forty years old, ,by mortal apperance. He is strong, but green tinted, indicating Unseelie leanings

"And Piper met her bio dad"

"He's not just a singer, he's a drag singer. He does a Dolly Parton you wouldn't believe."

Vali blinks as the on rush of news comes on

The grump chieftain's brow furrows deeply at the rapid-fire information. She holds up a hand (silver) to signal for quiet.

Squire Valter bows to the Chief

Dagmar shuts up, standing back and waiting.

It's hard , but Piper manages to put a lid on her bubbles.

"Hey there, tall stuff. Hand me down a turnover?"

Okay, she didn't quite manage to stay quiet

"You got it," Djilas says in a conspirtaoral whisper "Sweets for the sweet"

When there is quiet, Brekke lowers her hand. "Thank you," she says to the wilders...pauses again as Piper pipes up. Then she gives Squire Valter a nod. "Welcome, Squire. Come, have a seat and some food and drink. All of you."

"Oh, good. Glad you know your stuff." As she hands the pastry over to Valter. "Eat this." She demands.

A slight look towards Valhalla as the banter continues.

Valter looks towards Valhalla as well, then takes it, and looks at PIper "We are being rude"

Siv says "Sorry, mom we're kind of jazzed"

She tugs at his arm strap. "Take off this bag, stay a while."

She retakes her seat by the fire. "So I see," she says to Siv. "Please get our guest something to drink. Then, I wish to hear this entire story, in some sense of order."

Dagmar frowns and then... "I'll get coffee."

That's a job, a good one, she can do that.

"Thank you, Dame Dagmar."

The teen heads over to the coffeemaker where all the various and sundry supplies live.

Connor races down the stairs and whams into her legs! Luckily, before she has the coffee. "I THOUGHT A DRAGON ATE YOU." He exclaims, but doesn't actually look worried. "But I guess you're too crunchy and broke his teeths on your armor and now he has to eat puddin'."

Siv says 'i'll get the drinks, you give your squire a hug" Siv moves while they're pinned

Brekke explains to Valter, "That is Connor, Squire to Dagmar."

Valter shakes his head at Piper's offer to take the backpack off, then says "It is an honor to meet him. I am Squire Valter, Chieftain, and if you approve, I am.. I suppose, Squire to you, or at least to Rivervale. I am your boon"

"THough the greater boon is to me, for it is an honor" he says

Connor straightens up and bows to Valter, his voile showing the standard of Gwydion.

"Well, a dragon did eat me, but I'm okay." She scoops up the pooka in a hug after his bow, lifting him right off the floor.

Valter bows back to Connor "Peer"

"You don't have to peer, I'll hold real still so you can look. Though there's more of you to see than of me."

Vali looks amused and takes a coffee when Siv offers it

This news interrupts Brekke in mid sip, and she puts her coffee mug back down. "You are...my boon?"
