Meanwhile, at the Lodge, Siv is surprised to see her mother return through the door "hey, is Jessica okay?"

Her brows go up. "Hello, to you too, Siv." A pointed tone in response to her daughter's apparent loss of common manners.

A wince "Sorry , mother. Welcome back. I apologize, but I got a bit worried. So did da. He's at the Ironhawk House watching CJ. "

She nods at the information, then sighs. "She is...well enough." She gives Siv another look. "She told some some curious tales, about a local folk hero who apparently died."

"Oh? " Siv says, she looks a bit bedraggled but nods "You should tell me about them later if you would."

She notes Siv's condition. "Are you well, Siv?"

"Well, Long work day at the Marina, patrol was peaceful but long, and then when I was going to shower and change we got Tove asking for someone to watch CJ so I worry I smell a bit odd, or I'd give you a hug" She doesn't look hurt, just a bit disheavaled and tired ."In a few minutes I'll go over and take over watching for CJ for Da"

A slight grin, and a sniff of the air. "Not much more odd than usual."

"Oooo hey now" But she smiels

"Have patrols gone well?"

"Pretty good, we all kept records for you while you were gone. Dad had ..an encounter that went a bit sour" She gets the record book. They kept a record per patrol!

"Sour?" A look of concern, and she focuses on reading the records.

She might read Frank's notes about the nervousa feeding on the woman's self worth. Frank broke in to help

She reads over it, frowning as she goes through the details. "Hm. I see what you mean."

"Yeah. He has Carowyn on it to help out since she might be... well, worried about seeing him again" Siv frowns

"I think he's beating himself up about it depsite it not being his fault"

She looks over the records again, carefully. Then she shakes her head. "No, it looks as though he did what was right. Da'an can twist events in unpredictable ways, and nervosa make such situations even worse." A frown.

"The woman may birth new ones. Her situation is not good."

"Well, Sally Mae is.. oh, she's back, and apparently took her own revenge ? SO... Sir Carowyn has more time helping with this"

"I 'm gonna take five and shower" She realizes the time "Then take over for da. Tell him you're home"

"Mm." She nods. "Thank you, Siv."

She takes a seat in her chair by the balefire, log book open to review the finer points of recent days.

And off Siv goes. While Brekke catches up. Despite the unprofesional scribbles of hearts her daughter left on the side margins
