"Hm. How is your combat?"

Otto eyes tthe tray "uhm..well" he looks at his arms, then gets a stubborn look "I am one hundred percent sure I won't drop it" And extends his hands to take it

Kerri intercepts. "Here, I'll take these..." and she gets the jug and the cups.

"Excellent" she says, ah, there's sidhe pride, though she's seen worse, "I feel I must be from a warrior house. I've retained a lot of instinct for the blade. Dame tiara, the centaur, says it was so for her"

"No other house clues, yet?"

Otto wags, and goes in to te main room with the load he IS allowed

Kerri follows Otto, and sets her burden down on a table. "Need anything else in here?"

Brekke shakes her head. "Not I. Thank you, Hearth."

Alisa ponders "Sir Vali confirms I'm Seelie, that doesn't narrow it down much" She inclies her head to the Hearth "Thank you, Hearth" then she continues "I seem to have a lead compared to some fledges in combat. But if I have a House boon it may not be awake yet. " A frusrated look

Kerri nods and heads back into the kitchen.

Otto speaks up "These cookies look treacherous. I may need help subduing them"

Brekke says to Alisa, "Well, that is not an unusual situation."

A serious look to Otto. "I shall do my part." She holds out a hand to accept her cookie-burden.

Alisa says "So I'm told. I know one can't make demands of the Dreaming- things unfold in their own time. But I would like tto know who I was. For non Arcadians, though their changeling way seems more honorable, it is normal to re invent yourself onn who you will be in THIS life. For Arcadian sidhe, we must re-DISCOVER who we are. And the lack is always tap tap tapping"

The chief gets the LARGEST cookie. Otto looks at her "We're all counting on you. Good luck"

"I will alert you if I need assistance," she says to Otto.

"I do not blame you for the impatience. I do understand. But perhaps it would help to discuss the frustration with another....hmm...she is unseelie, but perhaps you should speak with Baroness Nadeen."

Otto nods somberly and hands Alisa a smaller cookie "Let's be careful out there"

"Ah.. yes, thank you" Alisa says and takes a dainty bite, then she says "I could text her I suppose. I think I will. Ah" She grabs a gglass and anottherr cookie "May I be excused, Chieftain?"

Brekke breaks off a piece of the cookie and eats it, then nods permission to Alisa.

Alisa goes, as if bracing herself. Perhaps she is nervous about trusting a member of an Unseelie House

Otto nods "She's not as good as my knight, but she's all right"

And he munches cookies, and drinks. He has to do Shadowpaw proud

"Mm." She breaks off and eats another bite of cookie, thoughtfully. "I did not know Dame Dagmar had taken you as a squire, as well."

"That's okay, Dame Dagmar knows a LOT" he is sure of it

"She does, indeed. Does she know that you are her squire?"

" Connor filled out the paperwork"

But he ..doesn't sound sure

"Mm." A slow nod. "Have you met Dame Dagmar?"

"At the place where my guts were ripped outt"

"The hospital." She nods. "Well...she may not be ready for a second squire. We must check with her. But also remember this -- whatever a squire does reflects upon the reputation of that squire's knight. It is a great responsibility."

"Oh" his ears fall a bit, and he gulps "Do you think she'll be mad?"

"That depends," she says. "Have you behaved in a way that would cause anger? If so, I have not witnessed it. I have witnessed excellent squire behavior."

He wags "Well, gosh. Connor's my secret society leader and his knight job is important to him" A whisper "you didn't hear about the secret society part"

"Mm. These cookies have a loud crunch, so I may have missed part of that. If Connor is guiding you, you have chosen a good person to follow."

"Connor made it so I see all 63 colors in the box" He answers firmly

Vali comes in

Brekke looks up. "Mountain, I must ask you go join our battle against the cookies and milk."

"Well, it's a tough job" He smiles and moves to it "What caused this celebration?"

"Young Otto did a fine job cleaning some boots."

"Alisa let shoe her shines" Otto beams

Brekke clears her throat. "Otto...shining shoes is a task, not a privilege."

"Alisa? " Vali looks around "Ah. She here?"

Otto ponders "So I am... TASKMASTER"

"She went outside to use her cell phone, to call Nadeen at my suggestion."

A bemused look at Otto. "You have done well what you have been asked to do." A nod.

Vali looks that way "Interesting find, Alisa." He dunks a cookie

"Yes? Interesting in what way?"

"Otto, I'm going to send you off to the kitchen under a clever pretense for a few minutes" Vali says "So I can talk adult stuff"

A nod to Otto for him to go as directed.
