"HEY SIS!" Jessica is hugged from behind while sitting down

Jess grunts at the impact and tenses, then relaxes. A bit. "Hi Siv."

"That's... pretty carefully said, Sally Mae."

"Thanks for not telling, Sally Mae" Siv grins over her sister's shoulder

"Not sure I made the right choice, to be honest" Sally Mae smiles though

"Um."

"Ah, you wouldn't take revenge oin Sally Mae for nott telling"

"Would you sis?"

"No." perfectly honestly "Of course not. It's her business."

"Well now I feel terribly guilty"

"Sally Mae, it's your business and none of mine. Forget I asked."

"And folks say we Fiona are the dramatic ones" Siv releases her sister

Jessica frowns, looking at Siv "I'm not being dramatic. I mean it. It's her business." She stands to get another coffee.

"Okay" Siv says "Not trying to offend either one of you but 'terrilbly guilty' and the assurance against. From my angle seems a bit soap operic, but I apologize to you both if my sneak hug complicated things. How are you doing, Sis? I know it hasn't been that long since I visited, but Diego and the others doing well?"

"Yep." She pours a cup and returns "So far so good. The dragon's been spotted but hasn't engaged, nor have we. Nunnehi contact remains relatively positive. I mean, they aren't stopping by for a beer but they are seen at the Pit sometimes, and we aren't in a shooting war so...."

"Sounds.. good, but not as solid as you'd like" Siv ponders

"Oh, I'd love to be on a visiting basis with the Nunnehi but we're not there yet. Still, at least we're not actively fighting."

"Ah. I wonder if Dika Hannah could visit again. Sylvi's friend, far north tribe. SHe's.. hideious of face, sorry to say, but a real sweet heart"

"Flayed men?" A surprised look from Sally mae "Who are the flayed men??

"They're not too pretty themselves" Siv says, with a look towards her sister

She nods gravely and describes what she knows about them.

She explains that the Flayed men might e considered dreams of Sacrifice, not necessarily blood and lives.

But hard work, time, effort. Only from sacrifice can new goodness come forward

"Huh, well, they sound gruesome but there's some truth to that dream" Sally Mae says

Jess nods.

Siv nods "Any place yyou go, dreams may vary but each is there for a reason"

"And Tijuana's history might have led to some unique dreams."

"No doubt it does," Sally mae says "Off the mainland and had a chance to grow"

"I've sailed around the Pensuala of it," SIv says "Some real beauty there"

A soft smile. "It is beautiful."

"Oh god yes, I mean yeah, TJ is a big messy if colorrful city, but you go just a bit further into the country side, near the shores there the water is like turqoise"

"See, you two should lead off with that," Sally mae comments

"Lead off what with that?"

"Vacation at the beach" She smiles "Now Clem? SHe's so Clemish.. it would be the hiking that hooked her"

"Oh." Jess nods "Clem drops by sometimes."

"It's good hiking."

Siv says "Landlubbers, why walk when you can sail?" A grin though "Tis lovely though, and the city has it's moments. Why, Sally Mae, somewhere in TJ is an artist ranks right up there with Sparrow and Earl.. leaves amazing street art"

Sally Mae admits "Earl's great, if you like weird creepy art. Me no so much? But i"m not saying so knowing Zara might hear it. She's been around trolls too much. Got protective"
