Frank nods.

"Rivervale training with a Fiona booster shot" Siv smiles "But I thank you"

"It'll be no surprise that father was a badass in the fight" She adds

Brekke grins and looks to Frank. "No. No surprise."

The grin fades again. "How badly were you hurt, both of you?"

"Nothing too serious" Siv assured

Frank nods agreement.

She's clearly skeptical of Siv's assurance, but when it's confirmed by Frank, she nods and relaxes. "Good, then." A pause. "I do not think that I would have paused to listen to his story." Not a judgment, merely observation.

"I almost didn't."

She nods thoughtfully. "Vali stopped you?"

"He texted, but Dad was already giving Qu-ar a chance to bitch.. pardon, vent...if I recall right? Mostly he was telling Qu-ar to get out of the barony"

"Mm." Another nod. Then to Siv, "Where is the boy who was saved?"

"Ah. uhm.. with his family. It's a.. political family" She says

A brow. "Political?"

"Harry's grandpa is a rep in the New Jersey State Congress" Siv tells her

"I was waiting for Vali to provide information based on the omens and visions he had. Stalling."
