And the phone rings!

Early morning, like 5

Kerri is the one who gets to the phone first, already being up to start breakfast. "Hello?"

"He's a boy! I knew it would be but he's a boy!" Vali blathers "Nearly lost my shit when there was a tear, scared me to death but tiffany is okay. She's .. okay, and our baby is beauiful"

"Oh, Vali, that's wonderful!" Kerri says, and she quickly gets paper and pen to get down the details. "Tell me all the things that I'm going to get asked about. Does he have a name yet? and how big?"

"8 Pounds, Six ounces.. and apparently saying 'I thought he'd be bigger' was the WRONG thing to say... my pooka wife went full nocker for a moment..as for the name? Theon Brek.. just one e one k.... Gardener"

"Ohhh...Oh, Vali, you know how many shades of blue the Chieftain is going to turn when she hears that," Kerri chuckles. And won't Akanthea's face be a sight when she hears she's sharing billing! "Okay, now, you say Tiffany's okay. I'm going to come over a bit later with some treats. I'll try to keep the crowd who comes with me down to a small horde."

"to honor two women I deeply respect. yeah" A smile almost audible then "Frankly, I'd LOVE you guys to visit. Maybe a heatherbalm will help her recover faster if you think it's wise? She loves the baby but I think she's in some discomfort"

"That was kind of my plan. There shall be cookies!" she pronounces. "It's still early, so maybe I can get over there quickly to give her a bit of help before she starts getting lots of visitors." And I get to see the baby!

"AND you get to see the baby! Thanks, Kerri . I got to get back to the wife and son... OUR son. wow. See you soon"

And he hangs up, quite excited so many a hasty hang up is to be forgiven

And Kerri? Kerri gets an early start in delivering

Kerri does, indeed!

Olgar finds himself abruptly woken and enlisted in morning chores so she can get out the door faster...with a bribe that he can come along and see the kid, too. SallyMae and/or Brogan can fill in after that.

Olgarr rubs his eyes nods "On it..."
