A brow. "I think Star might have something to say about that. Or not."

"Oh, well, I'm sure she understands.. .and probably she'll have another stallion cover her one day besides Stormwake and i'm sure he won't... "

BUCK

SPLAT on the ground flat

"Your horse is a puritanical priss" It escapes before she can help herself

Brekke does not laugh. "He is smart, and he will protect his mate's honor as much as he will protect his rider in war."

A tilt of the head. "Do you wish people to speak of who will cover you one day?"

"NO" Blush "But with due respect, that's.. very different"

She gets up and wipes herself off

"Is it? Not here. These are fae horses. They know their own minds, and we respect them as such."

"Stormwake, you have told her your boundaries. Let her ride again."

He bobs his head and nickers

"He agrees. Mount up."

"Wait.." She holds up a hand "Stormwake, I am sorry if I gave insult to you or Star. Your kind is rare and special, and while it may seem rude of me to speak of who covers who, I hope you understand it is not because I think less of you or your peers, but because I do not want your line and the lines that may shien forward from them to vanish from this world. "

Brekke's brows go up, intrigued. She watches Stormwake for his reaction.

Stormwake can't argue with this logic, they are wonderful creatures. Damn it. Logic is on her side. Still, he makes a nip but stops it at an inch before the palm to give warning about manners, then presses his nose into that same palm. All forgiven

"I don't get this much hassle from the kennel gang just so you know" She tells him and strokes gently

Brekke grins and nods. "I promise you I will speak with him more on the matter of breeding, and I will let you know what we decide. Now...up again..."

And UP again

It would seem that Gwen's , well, dander is not the right word, but her own pride is up and this causes her to ignore her inseucrities as she sasses the horse just a bit "I Really am curious how the Chieftain won you over? Did she pull a thorn out of you somewhere? Answer a riddle ? Maybe rescue from a dragon that mistook you for a princess?"

Stormwake actually doesn't mind THIS, at last the girl is showing some spirit

A slight chuckle as Gwen chatters at the stallion.

"Relax your legs more," she suggests.

And so she does
