Frank sees a wagging but tired Oak come inside and FLUMPH near the balefire

Frank stands and goes into the kitchen.

He comes back out shortly with a big bowl of fresh, cold, water.

He sets it down near Oak.

Wagging gratefully, the big dog begins to lap up the water

"Where's the lady?"

A glance to the outside door

Frank goes and opens the door.

And finds Gwen with Mischka, apparently the girl brought a water and food bowl for the Silverwolf dog. She looks up "Mountain, an honor"

"Mm. Gwen, if I understand correctly? I'm Frank."

"Yes, sir. I"m Gwen. " She gives a trolish salute in greeting, "How's Oak?"

"Oak, how are you?"

Woof

"Sounds like he's a bit ttired but doesn' want to admit it" Gwen smiles

Mischka looks tired but very satisfied.

She pats Mischka "I really have to say this has been a wonderful chance to get to know a new breed, Mountain."

She did eye Oak with a little consternation when he went… INSIDE the house. He wasn't guarding someone along the way… he just.. walked in.

And Oak is just all splayed out; chillaxin. What?

"Glad to have you along for it." Frank says.

Huff. She turns around, facing out where she can guard, and settles down. If she’s close enough for Gwen to pet? That is simply coincidence.

She pets Mischka, sensing her envy "You're a good guardian, very dedicated"

"Thank you, Mountain. Ah, to be honest? The title 'kennelmaster' Dame Lavender uses might be a bit ... loosely bestowed? I'm not sained yet"

The 9 foot troll's eyebrow lifts..... and he nods. "How do you feel about that?"

"Honored really" She pets Mischka "And I hope to prove worthy of it. Way I figure it, if someone treats you with an honorific, you try to live up to it honorably. I know I'm good with dogs, very good. Maybe I can prove myself good enough to be worthy of the title so to speak"

The Mountain rumbles; a chuckle. "Yes."

"You know, if this works out for Rivervale, we might be able to Breed Edelwiess"
