"Me? Of course! He's a jokester, sure, but I've always been fond of Vali, and he's become a very steady, wise man. Besides, I think there's plenty of room for humor in the role of Mountain."

A lower voice, "He's perfectly calm about it, you know? trying on Frannk's boots? I tell him he's SO hanndsome but.. he doesn't want to fart in Church"

"Oh, I don't doubt it. And it will take him some time to feel comfortable in the role. And he's certain to make a mistake or two...but I'm sure he'll get the hang of it."

"I only told him that forty times.. but I love him so my opinion is inherently suplex"

"I don't think he'll listen to anybody but himself about it right now. Give him time. Be as patient as possible."

The younger woman processes this, then nods "I guess." A smile "hey, when I tell him I'm superspeeding his superseeding, he'll be too distracted to worry about the new promotion. Brigghtside!"

"Distracted, he will be. Worried, too. Tiffany...please consider allowing the rest of the pregnancy continue at a normal pace. To be safe."

A nose wrinkle "Maybe, but only because I like your cooking and not because I respect your opinion or anything... but just to script the flip..." She says "How's things with the spawn of YOUR loins?"

"Oh, well, she says she's fine. Very busy, trying to get a lot of projects together for the area around DarkGate."

"Well, Busy Beaver is in the blood... probably why she has your tail"

"Oh, maybe, maybe. I'm sure she's doing a fine job, and the work she's doing is important." Something unsaid.

"Surely surely... and the other thing..." Coaxing wheedling.. pooka are so easy to talk to

"Well, she hasn't really said, but I'm sure if there were any problems between her and Colton, she'd have said something. So they're likely doing fine. I mean...it would be nice if she would say...." A shrug.

"I guess that's something you have to look forward to...trying to draw information out of your wilder child."

"Oh sure... cann't wait for that. "Why are you lying to your mom?" '"You, okay, I learned from you!" Cue door slam and sad music..." She shakes her head "Sylvi wants to prove she can stand on her own four feet. I imagine she's forgetting that even those that stand are allowed to sit down again at the family table.."

"Oh, I'm sure she doesn't think..." She stops and knits her brows. "Did she say something to you?"

"Well, as I was a son myself once, I can guess.. you would'n't known because you burst full grown from someone's brrow but a that age? CHARGE...and you might forget camp"

A long pause. "When I chrysalized, I was already a wilder, and...I left home pretty quickly, without looking back."

"So exactly like Sylvi then" A pat on the big woman's shoulder and a reassuring look "Want me to drop by Nadeen's sometime, drop her some extra clohes or food? Chat folks up?"

"Well, I...I don't want to crowd her."

"Which is why I wonn' shove you in my knapsack"

"...If you're willing?"

"You kidding? I'm supposed to be keeping my damsel's crowning a secret here... less chance of me blabbingg it in Frenemy turf."

Kerri takes a deep breath. "Well...tell you what...let me get the grocery shopping done, and then I'll put together a little basket to take with you. Some of her favorite pastries."

A nod "Those that can't cook, carry take it away bags" A grin. In truth, thanks to help, she can now make some easy meals that are edibe. But it is still a crime what she does to attempts a home made bread.

A chuckle. "All right then. I'll be back in a bit. In the meantime...go talk to Vali about your passenger's arrival date." A nudge.

A wince "We who are bout to whine salute you" But she squares her shoulder, and in two legged form makes her way to her car to drive there "Text me when my take out is ready"

"Deal. Talk to you then." Kerri nods and heads to the Jeep, shopping bags in hand and many thoughts in mind.
