Frank glances after her when it's safe, but says nothing.

He makes note of the House meeting to check against Brekke's calendar; he'll go if he can.

He slips the novel into a desk drawer to show Brekke later.

Then Sally Mae opens the door and moves to the TV, eyes wide flipping it on destroying Frank's peace "Frank... the news"

"What?" Frank goes alert; the TV isn't often uncovered, much less used. One could forget there's a device in the Lodge at all.

The TV's volume was left too loud "....SHOOTING AT KING'S CONVENIENCE! TWO DEAD, ONE IN CRITICAL CONDITION ACCODING TO LAST REPORTS! POLICE CONTINUE TO INVESITIGATE..."

Frank is gone on the run to the Rig, and down the road to the store.

And off he goes... his truck racing.. elsewhere
