Jack grins like a fool outside in the garden

As the Jellybean stalk goes up.. .up.. up

Kerri notices Jack's interest and comes outside. "Everything okay?"

"YUP" He points up "JUUUUST FINE"

And she blinks at what she sees. "Oh, my!" She grins. "It really took off!"

"YUP" He smiles "It's gotten all the way up to the cloud... see?"

And it does.. arching up up up.. jelly beans some times sprinkle from it's fruits.. but the stalk and leaves just rise into the heavens

"I do see..." And her smile fades. "Hm. We need to put some warding of some kind on that."

Jack Flap says "okay" And starts to climb it

"Jack! That's not...I think that is a very bad idea."

"Oh, then I won't ask you along, don't you worry hearth" he scrambles further up

He stops "Oh what am I THINKING.."

She frowns. "Jack, come down here, now." Any gentleness is gone from her tone.

"Right right" He hops down "I gotta get CONNOR.. he'd be mad if I didn't invite him"

"Jack Flap, if you try going up there again, I will chop it down." A stern and genuine warning from the Hearth.

"NOOOO" He says horrified "It's al iving greeen piece of gaia... "A pause 'And it gives JELLY beans, you Can't Chop it down!"

The satyr looks at her like she's a MOONNNSTER

"It is a crop that can be harvested. And if it poses a danger to those who will not show good sense around it, then I will do so. I do not wish to do it, but I will if I see the need."

She looks up to where the stock grows tiny in the sky. "It is too dangerous for childlings...alone."

"Thatt's why I was gonna get connor" He pouts "I bet mom would let me go" Speaking of Myrttle Anne

Spoiler alert.. she wouldn't

He stomps off, extra hard on his hooves to be petty now that he's on the ground again

"I am quite certain she would not...unless you had an older person with you."

He sticks his tongue out "Ppppbtt" And runs off .. satyr snit

Snow peeks out "Raspbery? Oh.." She sighs and leaves again

And Kerri? Kerri nneeds to find her husband to block that sky trod

Kerri does indeed need to do exactly that, and so she does...hopefully before the boy decides to defy her.
