The Patrols have been safe enough, no one sane goes after trolls when they're ready and aggressively on guard

No news from Siv yet, but then, it hasn't been that long

Sylvi took the advice given to her to stay at a distance, but on alert if needed, so Kerri set AnneMarie up in Sylvi's room for the night. The boggan might have covered the aquarium tank, but in general the room is peaceful, and she must have had a good rest.

In the morning, Kerri offers her a robe so she can do a quick laundry of the boggan's clothes. And asks her to help make breakfast, if she's willing. (Because of course she will be.)

Just about everyone would get 6-8 hours of rest (even if they can't sleep) and full stomachs.

She is, but Anne marie fusses

Kerri tries to give her plenty to do and not quibble if it's different from the way she'd do it herself.

Brekke did an early patrol the previous evening, and then two more during the night. She comes in as breakfast is being laid out.

"AnneMarie." A nod of greeting. "You slept well?"

Dagmar enters, carrying a duffel. "Hey, I got stuff for Anne Marie!"

"Fitfully actually"

"mmm?" She sees Dagmar "Oh bless you, Dagmar"

"Toothbrush and clothes and stuff. Dr. Lee packed it."

A nod of approval to Dagmar. Then to AnneMarie, "We need to contact Kenna. In your opinion, what is the best approach?"

Frank comes downstairs, dressed but in sock-feet and with slightly damp hair. Must have taken a shower to refresh himself.

Brekke looks to him, a brief MarriedBrain exchange.

"I mostly write her letters. I guess we could call but...how formal is this?"

"I am not concerned with formality...unless formality will ensure that she will speak with us." Brekke looks grim.

"here's her number if you'd like to try"

A look to Kerri, and then a nod.

She takes the number to the uncomfortably small phone closet, and she begins dialing.

the phone rings, once twice, three times. When it picks up "So help me if this is a robocall..."

Frank approaches Kerri as Brekke wedges herself into the phone closet. "Kerri, need a hand with anything?"

Kerri thrusts a plate at Frank and points him at the breakfast. "Eat." A grin.

Brekke clears her throat. "It is not a robocall. Is this Kenna?"

"I.. yes. Is this about college?"

"Mmphm." He speaks quietly. "Did you sleep? Did the others?"

"No. It is about a helpful person in Bergen county, who is now in need of help."

There is only one beat "Anne Marie? is she okay??"

"Here, Anne Marie. You can put on your own stuff clean. Having your own clothes is nice when you're in transition."

Anne Mare ttakes it "It really is. Thank you"

Kerri grins a bit. "I slept enough. And I think there was a fair amount of restlessness, but minimal trauma."

Frank nods, and takes the plate to the table. He sets it down, and checks on BrownDog, Connor, and Jack.

"She is here, and she is fine," Brekke says. "Would you like to speak with her?"

"Dagmar, help us eat some of this food," Kerri suggests.

Connor is reading a story to BrownDog... Lassie Come Home!

"Yes, please. Bu first who am I adressing?" Kenna asks

Frank observes for a moment, not interfering, and nods before he goes back to his plate to sit and eat. At least it's not Ole Yeller....

Dagmar helps with food!

Brown Dog wags and moves around a lot more easily

"I am Brekke, of Rivervale."

But still stiff

"Indeed. And she is under threat. Where can we meet to talk?"

"I fear there is some distance. I've never been to Rivervale. do you have suggestions how to get there from Cincinatti?"

"I know that AnneMarie has your mailing address. If I can get near there, I can contact you from there."

"I will come to you."

"I do not wish to bring you closer to a place where you have, yourself, been under threat."

A slight grin. "Coffee. I do not think I should stay long enough for a meal. I will contact you soon."
