And after they troll puts up at least three in the fief, where wilders might find them. Before heading home.

"What kind of secret object? Can I do it after Pennons?"

Vali is not surprised it's Dagmar who comes to it first "Actually, you can do it after Samhain. Crazy busy month I know"

He has been a good host, and provided her with a Dr. Pepper "You interested?"

"And.. ah, it's a SECRET Object so secret IS the kind of object it is. Telling you too much defeats the secret part" He points out

"Ah, gotcha. Okay, I can do that too."

"See, Symon? He'd wanna know what it was."

"He would... probably still will. He's more Took than Wormtonque despite what he teases at "

A snort-laugh. "Better not call him a hobbit to his face, though."

A grin "I leave that to you to try if he ever needs taken down a peg. I like Symon,he's got a sly sense of humor. Now... November is better for you then?"

"Sure? I want to be home for Thanksgiving, but otherwise..."

"Mmm better be early part of November then" He nods "Thanks, I appreciate this"

"Is there anything you can tell me?"

"Like, I mean, I expect it to be on the up and up."

"Yeah... you can't use flicker flash or Siv's boat. It can be.. disruptive" True

She nods. "Sucks, Siv'd be nice to go with. Maybe Nadeen..."

"Sorry, sorry SHIP" He corrects "God knows if she hears the B word I'll get an ear ful"

"Heh."

"It shouldn't work against your honor if you're worried about that" He nods "Wouldn't be right"

"Good, that's important. So - is this a dangerous thing?"

"Like, it has to be hidden safely?"

"It could be dangerous in the wrong hands" He admits

"Sure, so I gotta make sure it gets to the place. If I'm in a bind, should I destroy it before I lose it? Is this a thing I should die defending?"

He ponders "These are good questions. It could get dangerous... but I'd rather have you alive and the object destroyed than the other way around if need be . "

"Can I take friends?"

"ONE Friend" He gestures "And you must tell me which one"

"Hunh."

"I mean, I'd say Symon, but I know he'd wanna know what it is..."

"Mmm maybe I can get it weaver warded to keep him from opening it. I know a guy" A thought

"Anyway...thanks Dagmar. You will find the reward to your liking I think" He nods

"Well, rewards are nice, too. But mostly an adventure sounds fun."

A grin "They are. Fine. You go talk to Symon if you want. I need to go talk to the wifey to be"

"Sure thing!"

And Dagmar has a quest ahead, which is SO much better than home schooling at the DeBuke farm... and best thing? turns out the teachers sometimes take quest as a valid reason to be excused!
