"Not in this Lodge they don't" Siv sighs coming in from the kitchen

Kerri gives Nadeen a brow and less of a smile. "I'm sure Rover Olgar could give you an earful. As it is...ah...I will defer to Siv."

"Is it too late to simply retract my statements?" The Varich says as Siv comes in

Siv looks at Kerri "What silly thing is she saying?"

"Oh, something about grumps being 'over' romance, as the 'fires have gone dim' or some such."

"I don't think I'm a good gauge about public displays of affection."

And she passes the cookie tray.

Siv looks at Nadeen "Nadeen, you are in a troll lodge, we are reserved... that does not mean the grumps here don't have plenty of fire" And takes the tray "They're just hidebound to make sure its no one else's business. " A pause "Uncle Olgar migght brag if he thought Hearth Kerri would let him.. but he's an exception. "

"It can be a tricky thing to navigate, Dagmar," Kerri nods.

Nadeen looks at Dagmar, "You're perfect the way you are" Firm nod

Siv says to Kerri "I'll handle the kitchen clean up. I think it's my turn. You go.. oh do something passionate that we don't know about" A smile

Kerri doesn't seem at all abashed by Siv's words...but also doesn't seem inclined to elaborate. "I'll take it under advisement. Evening, ladies." She heads into the kitchen.

Siv watches her go, then says to the wilder girls "Note to anyone.. do not try to make out in McGillicuddy's guest room"

"Ew. No."

"Why on ... Fiona are weird" Nadeen declares

"Totally weird."

Siv says "I could make comments about certain OTHER Houses, ones with anger management issues and another who thinks Ivan the Terrible is a role model.. but instead" She sticks her tongue out

"Not weird!"

"Yup. Say what you want but not weird" Nadeen says

Siv rolls her eyes "Fine fine. But I need to find a regular hook up spot with my boyfriend or I'm going to go nuts. "

"What about your ship?" Nadeen asks

"It can draw too much attention if I leave it in the lake for long" Siv sighs

"What about the farm?" Nadeen says

"They put you to work. " She says "I don't know how the DeBukes ever got the time to get so many kids"

"Maybe the apartments?"

"I don't have a room there and don't want one to be honest" Siv says

Siv gives Dagmar a look "Say... Dagmar, do you use your room often.. during the day?"

"Where does Jonas stay?"

"Oh, for a time he was staying with Anne Marie in this bonus room but it's really small"

"Maybe he needs a place."

"He doesn't really get paid enough" Siv says "he says he's happy to help Anne Marie and it's not like his charity work with her..well, he doesn't get paid enough. And he just got back so he's jumping in on helping her again"

"...Build a treehouse?"

"mm love in the vines Does.. hey.. HEY" Her eyes light up "Dagmar, you might be onto something"

"Yay?"

"Yes.. it could be done, the right mix of shapechanging and.. oh yes.." Siv says "here, you get another cookie" offering one from the tray

"We were allowed more cookies anyway?" Nadeen reminds Siv

"Yes, but now she gets gratitude with the cookie, Nadeen. " Siv explains

Eyebrow.

Siv sees the look "You want another cookie? Gratitude you get either way"

"I think I don't want more details..."

"Fine. Gratitude and no more details" A pause "For now. I may want to boast later"

"Please, don't" Nadeen says

Siv sighs "You two. Fine fine"

Nadeen takes another cookie , then "it's nice to have you back, Lady Captain. "

"Thank you, Nadeen" Siv says flattered "Oh well, Kitchen duties for me"

And Siv leaves the Gwydion and Varich behind

Nadeen whispers "There... said something that pacified her"

"Thanks." She leans in, gently touching her forehead to Nadeen's.
