"And this is the fire... you probably can't see it, but I bet being born upstairs is gonna mean something later..." Bounce bounce.

CJ stares where the fire is, and though unenchanted, gives a sudden laugh like sound.

"Yes!" Forehead kiss.

"And those stairs go to where the bedrooms are, and that desk is Frank's where he works."

Clint James twists his head as if checking it out.

Which he might be

"Frank is the Mountain. So he does teaching, and history, and magic..."

"And here are where the snacks live." Connor pipes up, standing in the doorway to the kitchen and chewing on something.

Dag laughs. "Morning Connor."

"Good morning! Do you want a ricey crispy? We can help the prince eat his."

"Tove is exercising, so I'm in charge of the Baby."

"That's a big responsibility. He needs to know where the good snacks are. And that ricey crispies count as breakfast because they're made with CEREAL." A solemn nod.

"Well... only if you have milk, too. Want me to pour you a glass?"

CJ gazes at the Connor kid. what a giant!

"Milk is good for your bones, will make you tall. CJ is a BIG FAN."

"Does he want a glass of milk? We have reg'lar, and poison, and strawberry Quik,"

Gerd peeks out of the kitchen, behind her is Sally Mae "Hey," Gerd asks, "Giving the little guy the guided tour?" Then a look to Connor "For once the little guy isn't you, brother mine"

"I had cereal!" He quickly volunteers to Gerd, swallowing the last of his treat hurriedly.

"Uh huh" Gerd raises a brow but lets it slide- this time.

"Do you want strawberry, Connor?"

"CJ wants Tove-milk, but I don't think he's too hungry yet."

"I always want strawberry. Would Snow drink it too? Because it's strawberry? But it doesn't taste like strawberry. It tastes like... like pink."

"GOOD pink though."

"I don't think milk is good for Snow..."

Gerd smiles "I know what he likes" And gets Connor a glass of his favorite milk

"If she's a snow monkey, she should have ice cream." He reasons.

"Well, I bet she'd like sherbert."

"That doesn't have milk in it, just fruit."

"Oh! What about.. I saw this?" Somewhere in the lodge, surely, is an old-fashioned, hand-crank sno-cone machine. And Connor does love to explore in the best hidey places. Maybe not as much as Lily, but it's still an adventure.

He disappears for a few moments, and comes back with this device, somewhat dusty. "It has 'Noopy on it."

"We could put juice on top. When it gets hot out."

"The monkey gets pllllenty of food" Gerd says as she brings Connor his drink "But you're nice to offer."

"Oh! Yeah, we can set that up when it gets hot, for sure!"

"Food, yes, but not DESSERTS." He pouts, this is important.

"Fruits are a good treat if you eat other foods, but if you only eat fruit, then where is the treat?"

His tone injured by the injustice of the world.

"Shine on, you crazy diamond" Gerd says admiring Connor's sense of justice

"Dunno, if you asked Snow what else she would want, other than fruit, she'd probably say 'MORE fruit."

"But fruit ice cream - or sno ice - or sherbet is fruit made BETTER." He grins cheekily.

Sigh. "She does LOVE pie..."

"Oh, I do too. Is there pie?"

"Tove probably needs pie to keep her strength up. We could make some and bring her a piece..."

"No pie!" From the kitchen, Sally Mae's voice can be heard.

"Pie for after dinner, not after breakfast."

A sigh, sad.

"Sally Mae, are there danishes?" A touch of pleading hopefulness.

Hypocrite.

"Oh, there has to be at least one Danish. Because it's like... Nordic... heritage...." He tries.

"Now, it so happens..." Sally mae says "That there are before me, the FIXIN'S for Danishes. IF folks wait, soon, it might rise to being. Gerd....need your help in here. You wanted to learn."
