Piper takes her turn singing along and adding her glamour to the spring fling.

Eventually, the maypole is wrapped so much that they're almost out of ribbon and there's a cuddle of bodies close to the pole. Much hugging and laughing amongst everybody.

The only mortal is slightly out of breath for more than one reason, his skin warm from exertion, eyes bright from the contact and social energy.

Adam even gets a kiss on the cheek from Sylvi. So does Zane. And Piper. But it's Colton who gets the truly heated, hungry kiss.

Piper twists her face at the last moment to steal a real kiss from Sylvi! And laughs in delight.

Adam is a little nonplussed at Sylvi's kiss, but Piper's repost makes him laugh.

Laughter, and Adam gets REAL kisses from the twins..as does Zane.

Lyron is happy to grab ladies, lift them up, and drop them off to the fellow of hteir chosing

Sylvi laughs, too, before lip-locking with Colton.

Adam takes the kisses from the twins, but doesn't follow up.

and ...well, the party might just spiral out... as couples, and trios... go on. And some just drink and sing and dance

If the Gift is indeed in use, some of those couples and trios might not even wander far from the little clearing where magic is afoot.

(Fade to Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm?)

(Fade to Beltaine's delightful dancing in all it's forms, vertical and otherwise)

"Brenda!" Kyle is saying "I'm pretty sure you weren't supposed to do that"

"lost my temper" Brenda mutters.

"It's against the customs"

"I didn't hurt them" she mutters embarrased, then "Am I going to get banished?"

"Let's hope not," Khyle says , how serious is hard to say

Kerri sighs a bit ruefully. "Okay...so...we might have left out a thing or two in terms of guidelines...."

"I thought Beltaine was a TIME of seduction" She says

Kyle's jaw drops

"Not..all the way, dear." Brenda says "Just enough to ..set them up. Tit for tat.. or vice versa"

Kyle sighs "Breennda"

Brenda looks at Kerri, "I'm afraid I'm not good at this Changeling stuff."

"Ahhh...Beltane is a time...well, a time for positive pleasure. Vindictiveness...doesn't quite fit."

"I meant it more as justice," She sighs "But yes. I guess it ..darn it. Repay all debts seemed clear enough. I need to listen when folks talk about holidays"

"Well, I get it. If somebody were playing Sylvi the way Adam and Zane got played, I'd be on the warpath, too."

"I'll apologize to them later..." Brenda sighs then she glances over "Go on.. get back to your husband. Tonight of all nights" A look, "I think the Chieftain .. did she and her husband sneeak out of their own party?"

The distant sound of music drifts to them from the direction of the Maypole. "It sounds like they managed to get everything back on track, though. And yes, it looks as though the Storm and Mountain will...well, there are jokes I could make, but as I'm Hearth, I'll leave that to others." She smiles and winks. "I think you two might also spend some time enjoying yourselves. But yes, I'm going to find my man, and we are going to have a bit of a dance."

Brenda nods then laughs "I think he might be thinking the same thing" New music, not from the distance, but close... and if Kerri turns, she sees her husband. Reacting a movie scene

Kerri does turn, and her jaw drops, and she puts a hand on her heart. "Okay...he totally wins Beltaine." A sappy expression is on her face as she goes to him.

He sets it down and takes her in his arms "You were gone for like ten whole minutes"

She melds against him, her arms up around his neck. "How did you ever survive?" she teases, then more warmly, "How did I?"

"Must have been the thought of being back together during those long lonely dozens of seconds that let us hang on" Heh "You and the Chief done good tonight, Kerri. "

"We did, didn't we? So did the Mountain. And don't worry...we'll Hemlock you yet, now that I know you want it." Another teasing smile.

"So not the message I wanted to send." he says "Someone has to keep you nobles humble" A grin and a kiss as they dance "Oh, Torin took notes for every damn boast made. Says it's what a skald does"

"He'll have plenty of material. We heard good things tonight."

"Is there any of that honey sauce left over from the barbecue?"

"I might have put a small container of it on the side.. always make a bit extra ..some lady I've been seeing taught me that" He moves "So..dance, and.. more eating? Or maybe a picnic under the stars? Could get cold"

"Dance...picnic...a blanket or two...and we'll have all the warmth we'll need." It sounds like a promise.

"I do imagine we'll find SOMETHINGS to rub together for a fire..yeah" A grin

And wasn't it clever of the Hearth to set out an ample stack of picnic blankets for any to use who wish....

Oh she's a cunning one.

And it's not long before the Hearth and Rover are...well...the other party goers are perfectly capable of fending for themselves for the rest of the night.

So many do.

Why, the Kestrel, which Symon can not get into the private chamber of, might have someone else there... depending on the Mountain and Chief's destination.

And if the entire area seems to PULSE with the energy of a happy balefire...well, is anybody really surprised? It's a good Beltane.
