"You never know what'll happen in life."

"Yeah" He nods "Well, I put up the flyers so who knows"

"Oh? I hadn't... well, that's one way, for sure."

Gerd says "Ah.. you might not want to..." Less sure

"You gotta make sure they're right for you." FIrmly.

"I was gonna run em by Chieftain Shacklebrekker and He-Chief." he says with a nod "I figure they know bad folks"

"That's smart, yeah."

"Well, that should keep it interesting" Gerd says "look, Jack. If you find family, you have to know Connor has some ...well.. he gets..."

"He's kind of satyr like and gets upset bad" Jack sighs "I know. I don't want to lose his friendship. He's one of the reasons I LOVE it here."

"And he doesn't want to go to anybody, neither..."

GErd says "he's got hopes and dreams that..well... his 'father' doesn't deserve him but we can't make Connor see that. "

Jack Flap sighs "Jerkface Ailil"

"Looks like we all agree but let's not say that where Connor might hear it, and little brother is really good at hearing"

"Yup. He's got the GOOD ears... good sniffer too." Jack makes a sniff motion "I try but I just smell whatever is in front of me"

"Kay" Jack Flap says after a long wait

"Well, he's not likely to come back anytime soon."

"And that's why he's a terrible father and a jerk face" Jack mutters

"Exactly. Rice krispie treat, Jack?" She offers.

"Yes!" then he remembers "Yes, please, Dame Dagmar"

"Just Dagmar's okay."

"Like, if I'm gussied up doing official stuff, maybe?"

"Okay, yes please, Dagmar, and thanks" he smiles

And soon he is munching on a krispie treat

And the dogs are making BIG eyes at him

"No.." he says "no ..no. bad for dogs. Good for Jack" Munch but he looks to be weakening

"Edie, you're supposed to be better than this." Gerd says

The Fae hounds look contrite

"Okay... can we watch some Hercules tonight?" The satyr says

"You like Hercules better than Xena?" Gerd says

"Yeah, it's nice to see guy heroes get representation" Jack says
