"Ah." Brekke nods. "How long until then?"

She holds up two fingers

Sylvi half-kicks Adam's foot. "That's Eden." she says

"Two days?" Brekke asks.

"Eden?"

"You've totally met her...haven't you?" Sylvi says, trying to remember.

A grumble. "Sylvi, watch him. I'll be right back..."

"Yeah," Sylvi agrees.

Dagmar goes to get a glass of water - no, two - from the kitchen.

A nod to the Chief, then Eden looks to Adam "Yup. It's me, Maleficent who you got mad at for being a pooka"

Adam's eyes get big. "Woah........" Awed.

Tikki looks ready to approach Eden, he breathes into his hand, checks his breath, and he takes one step, then.. his phone plays a song 'Deep Inside the Forest there's a gate into another land'... and he sighs and pulls out his phone "Dad? I'm at the Lodge challenging the Chieftain to Mortal Kombat. I'll be home once I heal? Of course she won. She's the big boss. What? NOW? No... argh Dad, this is.."

Brekke raises a brow at the one side of the phone conversation she can hear.

Adam pushes himself up to his feet, one hand on the furniture to keep him steady.

And to her credit, she stifles a grin.

Sylvi puts a hand on Adam's shoulder and plunks him right back down on the couch.

Possibly on top of Zane.

"Five more minutes.." Zane says

Eden blushes and..basks. Some of the other ladies in the room might get why

Dagmar returns, with water. She tucks one glass into the crook of her elbow before straightening up the two boys with her free hand. Next, each has a glass pressed into their grasp. "Drink."

"iz how I got into this..." Zane says but sips

It's just water.

"Da.. outside? Here? No.. no dad.. you can't come in because there're remodeling the place.. they're.." Alarm and embarrasment "They're making it taller! yes. I've already nearly plummeted to my death twice.. "

Adam drops.

And is lifted.

And gurgles slightly as water gets into him.

Brekke is really working very hard at not grinning...and it's getting more difficult.

Sylvi catches Eden's eye and gives her a furtive thumbs-up.

Sound of another car pulling up.

Eden gives Tikki 'side eye' like in, are you going to approach now, or go out?

"Guh-guh-guh...."

Then she looks at Dagmar's efforts. "I'd just let 'em suffer, honestly. A little, anyway."

"They probably deserve it."

Tikki moves to Eden "Room 212 on the 200th floor... if you ever want to ... you know, see my Kipling Collection? Do you.. do you like Kipling?"

"I dont' know," Eden looks demure "I've never Kippled"

Tikki's tail goes bottlebrush again And he swallows

Adam sputters and struggles weakly.

"Drink."

Brekke may crack a tooth if she restrains that grin much longer.

The kinain burbles.

Then Tikki's phone rings again "Gaah.. he's killing me... the bear is killing me... " He backs away "I gotto.. you know... " he looks at Eden "Could I ask your numerical design?"

"See my agent? I'm on the move right now" Eden looks to Sylvi getting permission

"Oh...oh, yeah, no problem. I can get a message to her. Here...." And Sylvi gives Tikki her contact info.

Brekke clears her throat. "Does your father not wish to come inside, Tikki? He is welcome."

Adam struggles to get a breath, tapping on Dagmar's arm.

A raised eyebrow at Adam.

Tikki says "I can't thank you enough... and ..." A look of alarm at the Chieftains' comment 'oh no no sorry, Chief, he can't come into a Troll lodge. He.. he has Lutefisk Allergies.. but thanks"

"in fact,.." Looking out the window in alarm as the dogs bark, the Mongoose pooka swallows "I need to remind him of social distancing. Adrian, Zack, thanks for letting me steal the car" And he moves to the door and goes out

"Lutefisk allergy...." Brekke mutters and shakes her head as the pooka goes.

A voice can be heard "rules, dad! Rules... we park a half mile away from any place my social safety net is pitched. We do not talk about Bite Club....No no .. they're very busy in there... they entertaining divinity and you haven't performed the sacrements..."
