Brekke nods. "That is wise." A sigh. "The courses that I teach at the Y, they wish me to do so using a computer." The word sounds funny coming from her mouth. "I do not think that will happen."

"Ohhh... yeah. Maybe Symon could help?"

"Perhaps. Or Sylvi." Brekke nods thoughtfully. "If it must be done."

"If it must, yeah."

"I bet your students would like seeing you?"

And Siv , declining the cookie, goes into see her dad

He sleeps on the cot, facing the 'Fire.

And Siv sits next to him. He might not know who is on the edge of the cot with him

"Asleep huh? Mmph" A sigh

He does not stir.

She takes that as a yes, "You got hurt again. I turn to go, and you go off and get hurt again. I think the wrong one of us is crying out for attention"

"Perhaps they would. Hm. Perhaps...." Brekke considers. "It is spring. I could...there are skills I could teach that way. Gardening. Identifying new plants."

"Oh! There's flowers out! Did you see them? There's these purple ones that look like grapes..."

"Ah." Brekke nods. "Grape hyacinth."

"Hunh. That makes sense."

Sleeping.

"I still don't know why you're so pissed, Da. I don't. IMPERSONATING you? I didn't do that to trick you, I did it to protect you and cover the right of ignorance and get your truck back. You made it sound like a betrayal. And frankly, you know chicanery so Iet's not pretend deception and evasion is something you're above" A sigh

Brekke nods. "We will plant the gardens this week. Some of them. That might...hm." A nod. "I will speak with Sylvi."

Nothing.

"Gardens sound good! Hey, I could go take pictures of the flowers on my phone..."

"There's these white ones too. Like, droopy... and dandelions, i know those..."

"Well, not sure waht kind of father daughter sabatogue your're trying... but you're not getting rid of me so easy. You can stick your strait jacketing standards where the sun doesn't shine but I won't stop loving you. I'm not going to 'grow apart' ..god mom, that was the WORST way to word that... I am on you guys like Kudzu. I will quest, I will advenmture, and I will get that silver lion membership... but I will always be a King. I will not hang back on the other side of the world because I'm intimidateed by you and mom and how I worry I'm not good enough."

"Droopy?" Brekke considers. "Snowdrops, perhaps."

"The first flowers, usually."

"So, yeah - I'll take pictures, then you can put them online!"

"I would not know how," Brekke points out. "But...I could identify them, and you could put them...'online.'"

She takes a blanket and puts it over her father, "I love you dad. I don't understand you, but I do love you. Now please, stop getting hurt. It's stressing mom and me out"

Then she kisses him on the top of the head.

"Well... my phone is a regular one, so I'll need to do it on the laptop... but okay. I'll have Tove help."

After a pause. "Love you too." Quiet.

She turns "You were awake during that?"

Long pause. "Yes."

Brekke says, "Yes, Tove would know, as well."

"You never ever get to complain about me being sneaky again" Siv says archly, but she does touch his shoulder "I'm glad you're not hurt. "

A grunt.

"Still a bit of a grumble bear though I see." She says "Fine. Love cuts as well as heals sometime. You heard me talking, probably for the best. Seems a good airing out on my own terms was overdue."

"I don't agree with the premise of your complaint." Quietly. "I'm glad you came."

"I'm still not sure what your complaint is," she counters "And what pray tell is the premise of my complaint in your view?"

Siv then says "and I'm glad I came too, but honestly, if you want me over, ask instead of getting injured, okay?"

"I know you gotta check on things. I'll bring back pictures!" And Dagmar is off on a quest!

"That I never get to complain about you being sneaky again." He answers. "I don't make a goal of injury." He adds.

"I will be here," Brekke says as Dagmar heads off in search of flowers to photograph.

The Chieftain looks at the Lodge...but she doesn't approach it yet. Instead, she remains near the empty garden beds, in quiet contemplation.

"Fine, complain, but don't get hurt when I blow it off as pots and kettles...." then she snorts "Don't make a goal of it? I wonder. What'd you do? Pick a fight with a balor armed only with a saplilng?"

(Garden) Jack Flap comes up "Uhm.. your daughter's here"

"Yes." He answers the last question first.

Brekke blinks at Jack. "Which daughter?"

(Garden) "the yo ho blow me down daughter?" He says

Brekke frowns. "Why is she..." Then a sigh. "Jonas." She shakes her head, then says to Jack, "I thank you." Then she heads for the Lodge.

Siv blinks at her father "I thought I must have heard wrong"
