.... I hope Carnival went well at Rivervale, it was crazy here. Even more so than the expected. You'd think the Baroness would hate it, having to play the fool, but I guess Fiona courage takes many forms because she bounds into the role with a tenacity. We helped two mortals in dire straits by helping them be king and queen, had a madri gras (which thrilled Emma the Healer), beads and costumes and dancing and music, and then it just got weird as Mercy herself appeared to work a miracle but at a price. Jonas has visited, and despite his modernist leanings been polite to all even if Rollo thinks his use of big words is annoying. Then again, Thane Rollo is a surly fellow.
