Frank heads back downstairs.

Gerd looks at Frank "mouontain? Vali's room... does the lodge need it more than I do?"

"Not at the moment, Gerd." He gets his shoes on at the door. "I'm going to see if I can find the Chieftess. If she comes here before I find her, please tell her I have information about our guest for her eyes only. With luck, I will find her and tell her myself before they meet. Can you keep an eye on things here for a time?"

"Yes. I guess I'm babysitting" She seems resolved.

"Better you than me." Frank mutters as he slips out the door.

"Rude"

Gerd tends to the kids, then smiles Maybe I'll teach them the lyrics to "Hard Knock Life" so they chant chant it if they get chores

Gerd will see each kid to a location of cot or sofa or couch after bullying them to change into PJs

And when the Eshu ignores her? Well the third time? She'll fly, grab him, and explain there's a lake WAY over there...

"You wouldn't"The boy says

"Oh so would" She says

A sleepy, "just try her."

"It's fuuuuun."

"Would it be fun?" The Eshu looks intrigued.

"Your clothes won't be going with you" Gerd warns.

The boy says "Truly, this is tyranical place."

Gerd's eyes narrow, and Ikenna the Illustrious behaves.

As for Piper, a butterfly, very lovely, watches her as she sleeps.

Gerd is exhausted... everything is cleaned up, the childlings are squirreled way like nuts. She's never had to rely on the lessons by the Hearth so much, and is now retroactively glad she paid attention.
