"Pork chops" he says.

Sally Mae comes in "Well, I have kitchen duty.. what are you two doing?"

"It's like a secret password to a land of deliciousness!" And then he clams up for a moment as Sallie Mae comes in, but gives her a happy wave. "I made a pie, all by myself! Brogan just watched so that no cartoons would drift in the window smellin' it and steal it away."

"I hope you're not eating this before dinner?" Sally Mae fusses, "You won't have an appetite"

"We're both young boys" The Daireann says

Sally Mae says "One piece only and that's It" FIrm

"Yes, Miss Sally Mae" The squire sighs. Clearly despite his title, he's out ranked

"Yes, Miss Sally Mae." He's so excited that he doesn't even mind the cruel restrictions.

"Good. " She appraises, "Looks like nice work on the pies too. Just enough browning"

"And the small one is for Brogie to take with him because there are too many tents for him to eat dinner."

"I... " She says "Pardon?"

"it's okay. I'm good," Brogan says

"I made you this pie. It would be rude to not take it." A pause and he says with innocence, "Are you rejecting my hoooospitaaaality?"

The sidhe looks heaven ward and defeated says "Noooooooo"

Sally Mae has to cover her mouth at that

"Where do you live when you're not being a Squire, Brogie?" Curious about his friend.

"My parents" he says "It's not a bale or anything but I'm good. They care "

"Oh. Are they sparkly?"

His face falls abit 'no, not really" A sigh "But they care. Pardon me. I need to go"

"Oh. I'm sorry, I just wanted to know so that maybe I could visit sometime, but it's okay, I really like it when you come here too. I'm sure they're very nice." He wraps up the little pie in foil and insists that Brogan take it with him. "Watch out for the crunchy bits, I forgot which apples went in, and if they were pine apples there might be tree bark in there."

"So your bark really IS worse than your bite" the boy smiles

Second time, Sally Mae has to cover a smile

"Ah! You wound me!" He presses a hand to his heart and flops over. "Miss Sally, please, on my tombstone, put that I was punderstruck."

Okay, she does giggle at that "And thus Pundone? I'll let your last wish be known." then "Have a nice night, Squire."

Squire Brogan smiles and heads off.

And Sally mae says "now.. you go play or something, I have to work okay? "

"Ohhhhhh-kay Miss Sallie May, but remember that I'm very full of pie now, so if there are any side dishes with dinner, I'm too full to eat them so no worries about my share!"

"I'll make note" She assures him "You go play off that pie"

He waves, and heads off to play.

Later, Brogan will find that the small pie Connor assembled is rustic, but tasty. Except there is one spot that is filled with Crunchy bits - what... oh... how did a handful of raw lima beans get in there?

Brogan will have to do terrible terrible ven...no, actually it IS pretty funny
