"Obvs." Sylvi hangs on as Siv takes a turn too fast. "Don't think he's figured it out, yet. When he does...I hope he's not a jerk about it."

"If he is you and I can each grab a leg and make a wish"

"Doesn't help he's giving her a complex about being 'huge'" A snort

"Yeah...I think the Chieftain was trying to help both of them by making her his guide...but I'm not sure it's going the way she planned."

"Well, Zane said he'll help. Maybe we can tell Zane to be ready to check Adam if need be? Adam is about as flirty as a satyr anyway"

"He so is. Geez...setting Zane the job of limiting somebody's flirting? You seriously think that would work?"

"We've already got a problem to worry about without inviting another." She glances back to make sure the car they cut off isn't following.

Relieved, she settles again, still bracing herself against the swerving. "Fine! Fine...."

"Driving is in my blood. You know, if I didn't love the ocean, I'd p robably go into racing cars"

"Oh, your parents would love that."

"They're better than they were about to to their credit. now, about Dagmar... on the plus side.... do you know what a big step it is for her to actually HAVE a crush?"

"Well, yeah. I just hope,,,,well,,,i'd hate to see her hurt."

"I hear you"

"I mean, if he keeps flirting with everybody, how's she not going to get hurt if he just keeps calling her 'huge'?"

"We could just be blunt and tell him he's hurting her feelings with that?"

"Oooh...she'd never forgive us if she found out we told him."

"Weird, though...she just came out and told him about her mother. Her bio-mom, I mean. Called her Junkie Jenny right in front of him. She never talks about her."

"She did?" Siv missed that OOC: At least I think she did

"Yeah. Then...she kind of realized she said it, and vanished upstairs...and didn't come down again until after he left."

A pause. "She'd been crying. I could tell."

"Oh she came back when HE was gone but you were still... oh no... that means his opinion means a LOT to her. " A sigh

"Yeah."

"So...yeah...I'm afraid we need to be ready to pick up the Dagmar pieces. And she's so strong that she could do something...well...really stupid." Said sympathetically.

"Annnd she's Gwydion. Oh.. if he insults her honor ..." A wince

"Oh...oh, geez, Siv...he did. They were going to play basketball, and he kept saying how he should get a handicap because she's so tall and strong and 'it wouldn't be fair'...." Sylvi looks vaguely horrified to just be realizing this now.

"Adam is cute, but I'm starting to worry he's going to get himself killed" A sigh "Yeah, we need to teach him about the Houses"

"I wonder if that stupid book had houses, or something like. Whoever wrote it should be locked up."

"Yeah, taht mystery remains"

She blinks. "He said that...and she didn't lose her temper." A frown. "Not sure what that means, exactly. It was before the bit about her bio-mom."

"Maybe we have Jaymes and Tove to thank for that. THEY are her real parents now." A firm nod

"So....she's just relaxing about the stuff with bio-mom, you mean? Maybe. And yeah, they're totally her real parents."

"Kind of. For Dagmar, that Oath of adoption made it 'real'.... maybe she sees it having librerated her... I don't know. Dagmar is complicated. I mean, she's more like my mom than I am.... but she's been through hell to get here. Hard not to respect her in that regard. But the wounds are still there, I just hope they're healing"

"I think they are. I mean...she let me do her make-up during my birthday. She wouldn't have let me touch her back when we first met, let alone make-up. So...that's like a sign of trust, right? And trust means healing....usually?"

" I think so... and you've been great with her, Sylvi. I wish I had your people skills." A pause "Well, when you're feeling your winter on maybe not as much" A chuckle "But I'm now December Gem myself"
